Gissi and his Christmas Stocking

Well Christmas Morning came, Gissi was still fast asleep in his Bed I woke him up yep he had been asleep long enough
I was not liked very much lol as he tried to go back to sleep and of course I would not let him, My Daughter said I was horrible lol
We then went through to the Living room where I tried to wake my Son who had been at work till 5am, he was a harder case even with Gissi bouncing all over him and barking so I took some Photos of my Darling Song after I put a Santa Hat on him while he was asleep and Gissi protecting him
But I got them, it still did not wake him, so I dragged out Gissi's Stocking which actually contained a Pillow with Catnip, yes you have guessed right Gissi likes Catnip
He smelled it so of course he was after his Stocking and he did not care how he got to it he walked all over Mike including his Head to get to the Stocking, once he got to the Stocking he looked at me as if to say, well come on then empty it, he started digging at the Stocking rolling on it and got mad because he could not get in it lol, so I lifted the stocking and showed him, well he was in his element then but he got his Head stuck lol which I had to laugh at sorry but it was funny, well it made him mad at me lol which he sure showed when he got his head out eventually hehehe
And yes he did get his own back on me he nipped my butt later in the Day
Oh well I had fun watching him get his head out the Stocking it really was funny

people word.He is one of the smartest little dogs I have ever met, ' well on the net that is. I just knew he was going to nip you onthe butt.

Seems Gissi had some reason to nip you then. lol.
Well these 2 got their balls and some good tunabake.
I won't even try a stocking with them.
They will certainly rip it apart.

that picture of gissi is so cute gabs... i can't stop laughing when i see it... i can imagine how he feels when his head is stuck inside the stocking... he must be so annoyed and anxious to get his head out... but i'm glad that he is alright now and back to his usual self again... have a happy new year to you and your family... hugs and kisses for gissi as usual... take care and have a nice day...

I did not think that Gissi would be with us this Christmas with how bad he was a few Weeks back but he is a fighter, I just hope that he stays ok now

Well hello there Stranger it is so good to see you again and to see that you are ok
It is still cold here I am in Doncaster at the moment with my Son and Daughter
The Snow has gone but apparently there is suppose to be more
Gissi had Pork and Veg as he loves his veg lol

I never thought about dogs liking catnip, that is so funny. You are like a big kid, Gabs, needing to get up and do Christmas. You guys just should have gotten up when Mike came home at 5:00. We did that one year when my uncle worked overnight.

you are so cute. and im so glad you got such wonderful kids and gissi is well. after the kind of year we've had we need to grab all happiness we can get and i see you are doing that. good for you girl. with our breathing problems we just dont know how much longer we will be around.

Hiya gabs,
Was just looking at the Photo of Gissi seems to be trying to get his little head around that stocking or out of it should I say.
I think I would have have laughed a little watching Gissi´s antics trying to get into there and trying to get out again.
All in all he had a very trying Christmas Present to sort out but it must have been worth it in the end.

Hiya Gabs,
Was he walking around with the Stocking on top of his head then? I can just picture what he did get up to though. He is a funny thing too. That a new Photo of him there or is it my imagination?
If I would have seen him doing that with the Stocking I would have tried very hard not to have laughed either and I would have just cut it up one side so he could slip out of if he could poor thing.
He is a lot of fun don´t you think?

Hiya gabs,
Let´s hope he does not find anything else to get his little head stuck into while he is playing around. No more socks I mean and things like that he could easily tie himself in knots say with ordinary socks then if he was trying to find something in them out of the ordinary.
How is Gissi today?
Also how is Roxy is she getting over that episode? Do you know it must be as hard for animals as it is for us. The Swans down here last year lost their Cygnets when they were just eggs waiting to be hatched.
Either they were eaten by Rats or someone stole them could´nt tell you which actually and they were so mournful for weeks after. I felt for them I really did.

Koey and I had a quiet morning. We went for a walk and spent time talking (sort of). Then I went to have dinner with the family. I brought some home for Koey. He liked that part of the day.

Hey gabs! As always, an incredible shot of Gissi! How perfectly
adorable! Read what his Cousins typed by his photo! I have to
admit that I am a bit of a lazy Mom. We only have a tiny 2 foot
tree and no other decorations this year! Mom had the flu and
wasn't in the "spirit"! The "boys" got gifts, but no photos or
anything else. And then we got "sucker-punched" on Sunday with
19 inches of snow! At least it waited until the day after
Christmas, but what a mess! It's left people stuck all over
the Country! I feel badly for them. Some have been in Airports
for days~

Only Gissi would like catnip! That is funny! I hope he eventually became unstuck and got the goodies out of the stocking! I had a bag of pet goodies and no one was particularly interested except my dog Cassie who spotted her new dog biscuits immediately and started licking her chops well before she got to them! Hope your Christmas was a great one gabs!
