I apologize to begin with, but there are alot of people that have sites and just want to make a few bux, I do the same thing, but there are too many spammers and fake sites out there that people get taken for. Isn't there anyway to elliminate the scamming sites?

The only way to eliminate scamming sites is when people try to investigate and study them first before working on that sites. There are ways to tell whether one site is a scam or not. Nowadays kind people made blogs to determine if a site is a scam or not, so i think we should try to do that first before joining one site. I am always hesitant in joining a site especially when nobody has tried to get paid. I never try to recommend to another paying sites that i think are unreliable at all.

I think the only thing any of us can do is avoid any site that wants you to pay them or expects to get your bank account or credit card numbers.

Dear brother, I am facing the similar problem. I think you can do only one thing and that is get registered and try for it.....Firstly you should search what people say about that site and than register for earning purpose. Thanks Arvind

As long as they don't ask for your bank or credit card information that would be ideal.

I appreciate your sentiments...There are so many of us who would like to make money online but too many who have not accepted the fact that we will probably never make more than just pocket money using our computers unless we start a legitimate business which would require cash and risk! I don’t know if spammers can ever be eliminated although they are extremely annoying. I am tired of my inbox being filled with junk emails like that but aside from ignoring them and deleting them I don’t know what else to do...

mylot is just fun, and not meant to be something that you become a entrepenuer at. It's fun to do little discussions and stuff like that. Admin is strict on this site which is cool and I hope that they will keep it family oriented and easy to use

You're right, unfortunately there are a lot of scam sites out there. Unfortunately I think they will always exist though. There will always be newbies to the online making world and it really draws people in when they hear about all of this money they can make. Those of us who have been working online KNOW how to scope out a scam but someone who's new to the online money making world may not and therefore they get sucked it. It's unfortunate but I honestly don't think all of the scam sites will ever just disappear. All that we can do is just keep warning people about them so that they don't get sucked in! :-)

About the only thing anyone can do is not get hooked into sites that request payment from you or require unusual personal information.

I must admit that I do get tired of talking about sites that pay you because I feel like it's a wasted effort sometimes. I told my friend awhile ago about it and she seemed interested, then nothing happens. Maybe it's just me. But when I talk to people about it, they either don't believe me or don't really want to know. Then again, I guess that's the nature of people in general to be suspicious. But hey, it's their loss.

i have seen on many complaints websites and forums that people come their to complain about the fraud or scam which they face. it's good that they propogate such information but i say instead of complaining the scammer , you much cross check it to make a payment to them or working with them.....people go on make mistakes and continue to it.... hope you guys understand what i want to tell... hope try to find good sites which has real earning may be slow....

It does feel pity for people who join these scam site and get scammed. However, the internet is free as it is and nobody can do anything about it. What there is to happen is that, everyone who get scammed learn their lesson and don't get cheated in the future. I guess this is the only way?

I don't know about that one, more sites are pushing the spammers away, and their posts on websites are deleted

Good luck with that. I would say no. I mean, there are still people here on MyLot who think this site might replace a real job. lol
