The new "adult friendly" party games

Well, after starting another discussion, I realized that we needed to come up with new party games for the adults who go to children parties and drink. I suggest a new "adult friendly" version of "Pin The Tail On The Donkey" that includes a picture of a bottle of beer and a picture of a hand. The person who manages to pin the bottle of beer closest to being on the hand wins a real bottle of beer. Of course, after a few dozen rounds of this, the blindfold might be optional... Or, how about a pinata? Sure, candy, but those with alcohol in them. Again, if they've played the pin the bottle for a while blindfold would be optional... Honestly, at nearly 60, that's about the only game I remember from being a kid. Maybe you can remember other kids party games that we can adapt to "adult friendly" versions?

What about duck duck goose... but instead of making the goose chase, make them chug their drink.

Oh really? Well, you just sit in a circle with a group of other people and the the chosen one "goose" goes around tapping everyone's head saying 'duck duck duck duck..." until they decide to choose a goose. the one chosen has to chase the one who chose and tag them.

Blind man's bluff? I am afraid the adult version would end up with a bit of groping. Again, if they have been drinking, a blindfold might be optional. Then there was the one where you try to drop the clothespin in a jar or can or bottle, depending on how sober you are, I guess. It seems that a lot of games involve bottles and blindfolds.

never heard of that one with clothespins... but horse shoes! Now THAT sounds like a good one! so long as they are far away from the rest of the party!

ahh, now I know how to play the clothes pin drop game... I'm guessing we could drop limes in margaritas... or olives in martinis, or... well, I don't know, maraschino cherries in rum and cokes or whatever...

One I used to play was like a Truth or Dare tell all type game where the host would make up a list of maybe like 30 questions or so. (These can be personal if most everyone knows everyone) and then you cut them up individually and put them in a bowl and everyone takes turns drawing a question and talking about it out loud. Then you have consequences for the ones who refuse to answer the question or do like it instructs. Another good one is Scattagories. It is a Great word game for people to play in any group whether you are drinking or not.

ahh, that sounds different than the way someone else described it, but also works and we came up with "musical martinis" with the last "man" standing wins...

I'd prefer pin the tail on the playboy bunny. How about hop scotch? You toss the coin, jump along the board to it then pick up the drink there & drink it.
