Valentine Day is all about love and friendship. So you should make your beloved feel special. What have you done for celebrating this special day of the valentine week and what you usually used to do in the previous years?

My husband and myself actually typically opt to not do anything special for Valentine's Day. The reason for that is that we both view Valentine's Day as being a holiday that is intended to up the revenue for stores and that is something that we really don't want to support. That said, we celebrate the spirit of Valentine's Day every day by letting each other know that we love the other person that we love them on a daily basis.

We usually spend this with a quiet evening, watching a movie or just talking to each other while sitting in the couch. Now, we did not have a chance to be really romantic cause we have to be in the hospital for my sick mother. I guess we had our shared moments cause he was with me all the time when my mom is in the hospital!

This was the first time i have been in love on Feb 14th and yet I did The same thing I did last year. I saw the movie St Valentine's Day Massacre . To me Feb 14th is about a mob hit of 1929 More than hearts and flowers! My guy Thankfully feels that all this hoopla over Feb 14th is nonsense! I feared that he thought of Feb 14th as a very romantic day/ night. I lucked out!

Yes, I do agree. Your lover should be made to feel special. I used to do alot of things in the past. Taped little notes around the house. WOre sexy neglige and such. Fixed the bath with candles and treat my ex like a King. He wasn't and that is why he is my ex now.

Happy heart's day, dear. Nothing special for me and my hubby. He doesn't believe in Valentine's day. He went to work while I spent the day with kids. I'm glad i have my kids to celebrate it with. We dined out and bought them toys. Of course, we took home dinner for husband. I am getting used to the fact that my husband is the not romantic type. Sad... bvut there is nothing I can do about it...

I valentine as a commerical gemmick, companies make millions because they make us think that we never love our beloved and so on or time to find a love on such time and so on. Now, show love and kindness to a beloved one is an going daily commitment for each other. It must grow strong daily and be practised daily too. We should think it is one time thing.

Valentine day is becoming popular in india since past few years only, i didnot do any thing special for my wife this year, nor in past years, we observe this as a universal friendship day, not limited to couples or lovers.. Thanks for sharing Happy Valentine Day to you. Cheers. Professor ‘Bhuwan’. .

For me, everyday is a valentine day. I always appreciate of the love and the friendship in my life. However, the date of February 14 is a special day to remind me and the people around me if we have neglected someone in our life. It is really special for us to appreciate of someone or to be appreciated by someone in this particular meaningful day.
