What if in the future, people were able to make 'androids' that actually really acted like human beings.. had emotions and even imperfections like us. Would you date them? Or since they're already robots would you just want to program them the way you want them :TO PERFECTION and only you would know that they're robot... would you go for it? Have you already dated a robot before... not literally.. (or literally!?).

That is a very odd thought...Interesting no doubt...I can always depend on you to keep me on my toes I am thinking it would be soooo weird to date a robot. I just don't think it is in my generation to consider it..who knows about the future though...you know? As far as dating a robot...not a real robot but you know...yes..I couldn't get the darn thing programmed right though

Aw thanks! But yeah, I'm sure a lot of people are working on it at this very moment to make it happen in the future sometime. And yes, there are a lot roamin around who are actually made of flesh and blood, now.

No, you wont really be sure if what they feel about you is genuine, because after all they are robots and are programmed to feel what they feel, say what they say or do what they do. I hope my sons will date true blooded humans in the future, lol!

True, but how can we be sure if a true flesh and blood will be genuine also?

We cant really be certain about that, right? Even true people can project untrue feelings and qualities.

No thanks! Have you ever seen the movie The Stepford Wives? That's exactly what the movie was about, men dating robots, as the perfect, submissive, docile wives they claimed they always wanted.

Oh, yes. There was a movie made that Robin Williams was in and I have seen pictures of very realistic robots. Robotics is becoming very popular. And it would be great. You could program them to be very good in the areas that you enjoy and also to be whatever type men/women we wanted them to be. I think it would be great!

Did you watched the robot movie: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enthiran It is also same like your words. When robots also have feelings then the situation become very strange. One robot can discover many robots. They can do harm to the society to win their lover's heart also. So technology within the limits is correct.

No, I've never seen that movie yet.. I was inspired by the "Watson" machine from Jeopardy. But you never know... maybe they'll make it work.

No not something I would like as I like human nature, someone with skin and bones, who has blood that runs their veins. Reason why I say it this way as then they will not be programmed to respond to me in a formatted way. I only want someone who can truly feel what I feel and nothing less. Sure their will be some opposing moments with a human man and I, however the make up later makes it far more better. lol

No I've never dated a robot or even come close! Actually I don't think a robot would be perfect, because they'd be a robot!
