My joys knew no bound yesterday when in the evening I came across one of my school mates in a shopping mall. I made no mistake in spotting her near an ice cream parlour. Though she was not very intimate with me, yet I could recognize her and could even recollect her name. We enjoyed the evening very nicely at a coffee shop recollecting the old sweet school memories which I think often haunt everyone, even the youngsters who left school recently. I think everyone will have the same experience if such accidental meeting up with an old classmate occurs. Do you agree with me?

Well, my experience yesterday was not in an accidental meeting with an old classmate of mine, instead it was a meeting that I kind of knew was going to happen with an ex-boyfriend of mine. We really didn't have the opportunity to talk for very long, but it was nice to see and talk to him and to basically know that he is doing well these days. I also got to watch his daughter for a little bit as well while he ran an errand for his sister and that was awesome because I absolutely love babies.

Yes, I would think that a very pleasant and even fun time can be had if there should happen to be a accidental meeting up with an old classmate occuring. Yes. I am past that age. Can't find a one I used to go to school with around. Afew I worked with but that is about it.

It is very good that you met this old school mate and had a very good time. I would not mind seeing a few of my class mates but to be honest none of them really stand on the big "I WANNA SEE" this person so badly! LOL! Glad you enjoyed the experience!

hi. Dr,DD.
Chance meeting comes in many ways. during leisure, happy times, sad times and any time. When it happen we say " What a small world, fancy meeting you here"....Am I right?
Early this week took my youngest son to the hospital for follow up appointment, poor guy, 3 different specialist in a day.
At the end of the day after all the appointment was meet, on my to the parking lot I catch a familiar face at the taxi stand. It was my old school's buddy's brother. I shook his hand and notice that his mother was there to. Ask him why is he there, found out that my buddy whom I have not seen in yearsssss had his daughter admitted to the hospital for lung infection.
They were waiting for him to take them up to the ward. I hang a round until my buddy came and we had a little chat and part ways since we got thing to do...
What I am saying here, we actually did not lost contact with our school buddys or friends we just drifted apart due to living our own lives. But I am a believer that our path will cross some day if God willing.

That should be fun though. A long lost classmate and reunion at the mall. Sitting down and have a long conversation over the past. Some sweet memory might surge up all over, and enjoy the unlimited flow of time. I would like to meet my old classmates too, but it was too long ago. I am not sure they recognize me or I would recognize them.

How happy you were ! at the moment when you met your school mates by chance. Here people always consider it as one of the pleasure in life that one runs into an old friend in a distant land. This kind of thing happened to me too.One day I came across my primary school classmate.we have not seen each other for decades years and we were almost out of recognition. To our surprise,we still rememberd each other name.

Hi
Yes I agree with you. It gives a great pleasure to meet some of your old acquaintances, it brings back old memories and some good memories from the past which we always treasure. We all like to live with our past - especially the happy memories.

I am happy for you that you had an enjoyable time with your old school mate. I wouldn't know one of mine if I fell over them. School was not a time of good memories for me. Though college was great.

I think it can be fun to meet old classmates again after a long time. It has happened to me a couple of times in the past. One time I met an classmate in a supermarked. She was waiting in line right in front of me. At first I didn't recognize her, but all of a sudden she turned around and said my name. Afterwards we talked for a while. She was still in touch with some of our old classmates that I didn't talk to anymore, and it was very nice to hear some news about them and their lives. Another time I met an classmate on the street, we also talked for a while and exhanged news about some of the other people from our class.

It is really nice and fun to meet up with an old friend. I have on occasions and so much fun because not only did we talk about the old days but now created even more fond memories of the day we reunited and were able to discuss the many things that have occurred since we had last met.
I am glad you had this opportunity because there are some people we simply never see again. Leaving us to wonder where they are today.

I'd very much enjoy this type of encounter. But I'm afraid I wouldn't recognize any of my schoolmates. I'm not very good with faces and most people's appearance changes a lot from childhood to adulthood (at least in my opinion). So the only chance would be for them to recognise me.
