Fell down off the tree!

Sometimes i was really got in danger when i was a child.
There was a Chinese wampee tree beside the old house that was built by my grandpa.i often climbed up to catch bees,butterflies or other insects when the tree's in blossom;And when its fruits got ripe,i got on the top to show off how high i was while eating fruits.
There's one time that made me never forget it.That morning i climbed to the tree top to reach for some big and ripest fruits when the branch supporting me bent down suddenly and i could not balance myself at all!Immediately i was about to fall down off the tree,i closed my eyes...
Fortunately the branch was blocked by another one,and my hands grabbed some small twigs,my body didn't fall out of the tree,but i was sweated all over!

It's good that you did not fall off that tree. That is why I don't like climbing trees when I was smaller, I was afraid I might fall. We used to have a guava tree and my father had made me a long stick with a hook at the tip and that I used to get those guava up in the tree.

yes it is very dangerous to fell down off the tree, It is very good that you did not fell down from the tree and have your all bones in very well maintain condition but i know how it fells because i fell down many time from the tree and get injured very hardly, so keep your self safe while you are on the tree.

I was never that much of a risk-taker when I was growing up. The closest I came to excitement like that was when the van we had been using for transportation on the job went off the road with four of my co-workers in it. Two kids ran 9 miles to get help and five of us slid down the hill to rescue those in the van. There was a lot of loose gravel and a rock hit me in the back. I was so focused on what I was doing that I didn't even realize it until several days later when I scratched an itch and felt the scab. It is amazing what you can do in an emergency.

My favorite thing to do when I was a child was to go to the back side of the farm where there was a small creek and many young, tall, straight willow trees. I would choose one tree and shinny up it until it began to bend under my weight. I'd ride it down like a horse until my fee touched the ground (or the water), give a few bounces, hop off and choose another tree. The nest day, the willows would be standing up straight again, and the game would begin again.

No i never experience this. I never fell down off the tree.When i was child then i also love to ride the tree and take out the fruits but never fell down off. As i was so careful because i know it's so painful if we fall down from tree. My cousin often fall down from tree.
So be careful!

Yes,do be careful while climbing a tree.One of my younger sisters fell off the same tree to the ground,but she servived,too.God bless!

As a child I use to climb roof tops and the the boys thought I was one of the guys. I have never really fallen like yourself and find that you were very fortunate not to be seriously hurt. But I suspect as me that venturing, climbing and stumbling that you are a very hard working person, not afraid to venture into pretty much anything.

I never did anything like that, but one time when three of us kids were out playing, we crossed a footbridge that was built over a couple of feet of water. One of the boards was loose and when I stepped off of it, my brother, who was on the other end, went head over heels into the water. My sister fell into it, too. She just got wet, but he broke his arm. I felt kind of guilty for awhile because I didn't fall in.

I was not lucky enough to have a fruit tree to climb, but I would climb up in some of the trees in my yard. I did sometimes scare myself as well. I think kids just do that. My mother did not really like for me to climb trees. I did not forbid my kids from climbing trees.

Oh my gosh. Just reading that made the palms of my hands sweat. I am terrified of heights. I never could figure out when I was little how to climb up in trees. I think I might be able to manage now but when I was young I just couldnt figure out how to get up there like all the boys did. Thank goodness you didnt fall but I bet you were much more careful after that.

Yes,i was always careful when i got up onto the roof of a house or had to climb up into a tree later on.

Hi Oldsix. Was hurt many many times but wanted to be tough so I girted myself and did it again and again. Life is more fun being a tomboy I can do things that many women don't even have a clue. Or any desire to do. But I never wanted to be at someones mercy that I had to wait for some guy to fix something for me. I want to learn everything I can and know how to do what I need to do. You should see the scars on my knees they have scars and I earned everyone of them. And I wouldn't change a single thing.

That was so dangerous. I don't understand why boys likes tree climbing, knowing that it's dangerous and it's so high. My brother as well as my bf likes to climb trees too. They are always after the fruits on the trees, and both of them had shared their experiences with me, seperately. I'm glad that they didn't arrange for tree climbing together, if not, they are going to get it from me.

Almost. Glad I have my mom with me. Like you we were climbing just to get fruits on the tree. It is not actually a big tree so me and my brothers climbed on it and got some fruits. Unfortunately I somehow slip and my body was hanging on air while my hands and feet got hold of the branch. I was already crying that I would fall but my mom got hold of me in no time. I love my mom!

When I was a kid I loved climbing. I climbed trees and even windows. :)
I liked eating fruits after picking them. Fortunately I haven't been fall from the trees.
