I recieved an email from a dear dear friend from Germany (book1) in need of prayers for her husband! I'm shocked with all she's going through and now her husband! OMG! She's stressed out beyond the max that I'm afraid she's going to crack. Seriously, she's a strong strong gal but even the strong crack eventually. Anyway, hope she doesn't mind but I'm including the email that she sent me minus the names so you'll see what exactly is going on. PLEASE PLEASE pray for her and her husband! could you please do me the favor of praying for my husband *****. He has been in hospital now for two weeks cause of heart problems. They found out he has too high blood pressure, no wonder with his overweight, and now he is treated with meds to get the BP down. All right. But they also have monitored with a heart Catheter and found out that a blood vessel is too narrow or too thin. Unfortunately ***** didnt pay enough attention to how they described the problem after the procedure took place. I am stressed out and in panic that he one day might internally bleed to death. I am scared. Back to me - Now for her to say she's scared says a hell of a lot! She's a toughy but with a BIG heart and she says she's scared so it must be really bad! Please pray for her and her husband!! ****** dear, I love you and miss you and our chats on msn but do understand your situation. Just wanted you to know that I'm here for you anytime day or night and that I haven't forgotten you nor could I!! To all who've prayed on her and her husband's behalf, Thank you SO much!!

I'm so sorry to hear this. She mentioned in a response he had been in the hospital but didn't say what was wrong & i hated to ask. Of course i will pray for both of them. Bless her heart she had enough stress w/her other situation. Seems when it rains it pours. Thanks for letting us know, Cat. U are a dear.

I'm still in shock and have been in a daze since I read her email. I haven't chatted with her in a while but she's never far from my mind. She's so busy with so much on her shoulders that we missed each other plus being busy myself, not like she is, we've missed each other. I had no idea things were this bad and I feel awful because I should've known. We're supposed to be there for each other! Man! I can't believe this!

Thank you so much jillhill! This girl has a heart of gold and she's so overloaded with careing for her mother three days a week plus comutting 3 hours to work Mon thru Fri and is the bread winner and now this happens. This is just too much for any one person and am afraid she's going to end up in the hospital herself. Nobody should have to carry such a load that she's carrying. She's so good to people and goes out of her way to help all she can and yet this gets dumped in her lap. I don't get it. Why is it that the good are the one's who suffer the most?!?

Hi onlinebuxmaker, I know and agree. God does have His reasons for the things that happen in our lives such as, it could be a test of our faith to see if we'll falter and if we don't falter, it'll make our faith stronger.... I do know that however being human, I can't help but wonder why we're being tested and in such a way when our actions speaks volumes of the type of person we are. Now, He can test me all He wants to and He will and my faith will not falter in Thea least bit because I know He's in total control. Thanks for the pep talk!

Oh my!! This would be a lot for one person to bear, and my thoughts and Prayers are with this situation, and hope that the Doctors can find out the real cause of this situation and are able to help him. Having her stressing out like this is not a Good situation and could make things worse, so she needs to find things to calm herself down and to be able to relax more before it does harm to her as well. Please keep us updated on this.

I agree, and that's what I'm afraid of, her getting sick because she's not careing for herself enough. She's diabetic as well so I can imagine her sugar has been going up and down like a yo-yo due to the stress. I haven't heard from her yet but as soon as I do, I'll let you know, I promise!

I stay in contact with her too, and when I read her latest e-mail my heart sank. More than anything I wish I could be there to support her. I know prayer works, but I wish we could just fly over there and stand by her through it all. I mean with her mom too...she is just so stressed like you said.

I'm not at all surprised being the kind hearted person she is, she's bound to have a lot of friends. We usually talk on IM but haven't in a few weeks because she's incredibly busy but was going to send her an update email soon but I think I'll wait on that. Gosh.... I can't believe the load she's carrying! I hope she's able to hold on through such an awful ordeal. I think I'd break! She doesn't deserve any of this hell......

I have been away for some time and have lost touch with some of my friends so I am not too sure who this member is but I do feel for her predicament and I will send prayers whoever she may be. I am sorry to sound so vague but I don’t have as time here as I used to so I am a little out of touch but I do pray that both she and her husband will be fine and my heart goes out to them both.

You know what? I just looked at my discussion again and for some reason, her user name didn't come up right! grrr! It's book1962, not book1. Maybe you remember her with the correct name? Don't worry about it if you don't, it happens when you can't be as active as you once were. Praying on their behalf is what matters. In fact, it might mean more because you may not know her or her husband.

i hate the thought of a family or friend in a situation like this :( when my father was rushed to the ICU due to his heart, i did not sleep at all. i was away from home & the only thing i could do was to hold on to the rosary (i'm a catholic) praying so hard & crying at the same time. Glad my father was ok. God listens. We'll pray for ur friend's husband. Be there for ur friend, if not physically, encourage her through ur messages. Pray that God will always keep her strong & her husband will be okay.

I know exactly what you're talking about with your father because when my dad had a major heart attack, he almost didn't make it and had to have emergency surgery the next day, a five way bypass. He went in, I think the first or second week of December and came home on Christmas Day which is the best Christmas ever for me. Nothing can top that. We prayed and prayed and of course cried and cried but like you, God heard us and saved my dad and brough him home on the greatest day of the year! Thank you SO much for your prayers! I just know my friend and her husband will appreciate it greatly!! I've sent them both a card (each) in hopes to cheer them up. Hope it works!

Thank you Polly on their behalf! I know they'll both appreciate it greatly! I agree, prayers have been known to move mountains and will move this one too if we pray hard enough and believe with all our hearts which of course a lot of us do. She's a really great friend who helps others as much as one can and expects nothing in return but for some reason this black cloud keeps hanging over her head. I hope and pray that her hubby gets better and this dang black cloud moves on and disapates for good! Wishful thinking on the latter but hey, we can wish, right?

Thank you stanley. Trust me, she's helped me at my time of need and now it's my turn to help her in any way that I can. She's a real gem of a friend that I hope to have for the rest of my days. The problem is, I'm in the USA and she's in Germany but hope to meet her and her husband one day. Just wish this heavy load would lighten up on her. She's got way too much on her that I don't know how she's able to contain herself. I'd have broke apart for sure.

Yes, I know that her situation is very stressful and that's why I started this discussion on her and her husband's behalf. Believe me, I'm going to be there for her day and/or night when ever she needs me. She's a wonderful, kind hearted, careing, loving, etc, etc, (I could go on forever) type of person and will be there for her any time and all the time. The only problem is, she's in Germany and I'm in the USA which makes it hard to be with her in person but I'm ALWAYS there in my heart and she knows that. God Bless You too!! And thank you for the prayers!

I love the care that is shown in this MyLot family. I am not sure I could do what she does if I were in her shoes. It is appropriate and right that we pray for her and for her situation. Thanks for sharing with us.

I agree, mylot is AWESOME! I know a lot of us have made some wonderful friends, I know I did and it's great how we can connect in such a neat way. And I agree too that I don't think I could handle all she does. I'd have broke a long time ago but she's a strong and determined gal and some how she'll keep on like she's doing. I just pray not at the expense of her own health.

I'm stunned silly! I haven't talked to her or chatted with her in weeks and now I know why! She doesn't deserve this and yet she's getting it all and then some. I know I couldn't handle all that! I certainly hope you're right that God does see her through and gives her the strength to carry on. Actually, I KNOW He will but it doesn't stop me from worrying about her.

Yesterday I was in such a daze from shock but went to the store and got two cards, one for her and one for him and sent them off this morning. Hopefully they'll get to them both rather quickly and cheers them both up knowing that someone across the ocean does care and care a lot. No pun intended! You know, a little added something to show that I care. There's so many of us who DO care and are praying on their behalf so hopefully he'll get better and really soon!
