Anyone else like this delicious dish? I could eat spanakopita all day every day and yet I don't really like spinach. I'll eat spinach and cheese pizza too, but just plain spinach? Ain't happening. Anyone else like these two dishes but not spinach itself? Spanakopita is a greek food for those who are wondering what I am talking about, lol.

Yes. I love Greek food. There's a Greek place opening up the street from me hopefully they will still open because they have been working on it for months but still nothing. Maybe they ran out of money I don't know I hope it opens soon so I can get my souvlaki on. I also love avgolemono soup. I'd love to go to Greece. Yummm.

Well then let's go, I'll meet you in Greece! I'd love to go there as well, and eat their food and tour their beautiful country. There's a greek restauraunt about twenty minutes away from me that I want to apply to as well, I'd love to work in a greek place again.

I don't like spinach at all. I will not eat it on anything they serve to me. I just do not like the taste of it.

I agree it's nasty, but for some reason on pizza or in this particular dish it's really delicious to me. I guess it's that it doesn't taste so much like spinach like that.

I actually love spinach...yes, even by itself! It's versatile, healthy, and delicious (for some of us at least). I also enjoy spinach pizza and I imagine I'd like spanakopita too based on its Wikipedia entry since I haven't ever had it. If you'd really like to test your spinach tolerance, I recommend Spinny Chips -- corn chips and spinach are a surprisingly good fit.

What does spanakopita have in it. Spinach it sounds like. I like spinach. I like it with alittle vinegar on it or raw in salads. I know it has iron in it and women need this nutrient to be healthy. I do hope to learn what this spanakopita is and what all goes into it.

Hello Cowgirl! We´ve tried this spanakopita in Mexico!! We bought it in a deli. We all loved it!!! It´s simply a great dish. OUr kids loved it. People must try the dish before talking about spinachs! =) Blessings! Dainy
