Kate Middleton - would you want the attention

I was just thinking about all of the hoopla over the royal wedding that will take place tomorrow and was wondering if any one of us would really want the attention that Kate Middleton is getting right now? Any bride is nervous but she will have millions of eyes on her both tomorrow and every day after that. I do not think that I would like that pressure and I am sure that most of us would not either. Would you want the attention on you?

No way! I would hate being under the eyes of everyone at every turn. I can not imagine the pressure. Under a microscope is what it puts me in mind of. I don't think I would do well.

The worse part is that since she is going to be a part of the royal family she will be in the spotlight and under the microscope in all that she does.

Of course not. I think it's really great that she will marry Prince William and she'll be a royal too but because of all the attention, I wouldn't want to be like her. I'll just be happy for her wedding and may God bless them all. I don't think I would be able to handle that attention and all the criticisms she's getting.

Well, I agree that it would be great to be marrying the Prince and to be a part of the royal family, but I certainly would not want the attention and all of the publicity that comes along with it.

I certainly would not be comfortable with this kind of attention. I think we are so hard on well known couples.

I believe that we are too. I read an article in a magazine that said that Prince William was nervous about the wedding just due to her safety. He realizes that it is going to be a huge adjustment for her.

I was nervous enough at my wedding as it was and there were only a hndful of people there LOL. I would not want all of that attention on me.

I wasn't nervous at my wedding, but I just would not want the entire world watching me get married and have to worry about my safety on my wedding day would be even worse than the regular case of nerves.

That is a trade - off for being a public figure. I think Kate Middleton already thought about it for while, and that she loves Prince William, and she definitely willing to make that sacrifice for him. That is their fate I guess. No matter what the future plays out, we have our prayer for both of them.

i'd definitely not want all the pressure. An expected audience of 2 billion people is supposed to tune in to watch at some point tomorrow. Bless her, imagine if she trips up! I know I would since I'm such a klutz, I'd hate to have so many people watching. But for her it's obviously worth it to marry William; people are saying how it's good he's marrying a "commoner" etc, but I think she's making the biggest sacrifice for him since her life will never be the same again and to give up what she has now for him is a sign of true love.

I believe that you are right when you say that she is the one making a sacrifice. Her life will totally change and although it is for the better, she will still never have a normal life again!
