There have been so many discussions about Readbud.com. I don't think that in the recent months any other site has received this kind of attention for all the wrong reasons. However the site continues to exist and members continue to rate the articles with the hope that they may be the lucky ones who get paid.I too am waiting for my payment since 8 monthsand so are many of my friends. However, I found this information on Readbud on the net and decided to share it with others. I have given the link below... http://ptc-investigation.com/readbud.aspx

Hello Kiran ji, I don't join this site. So I don't know about it. But you are writing that you are waiting for payment since last 8 month than it is implied that this site is not a paying site.

Hello Kiran It is problem here that we can know reality of any site after investing lot of time. Only and only one method to check the status of any site is join it and work till you reach at minimum payout. Although here is some investigation sites are available but they have not information about all sites. It is my suggestion when you join any new site also get joined to your friend as your downline. In this way you will reach on minimum payout in less time.

Yes, why could they not die and kept cheating people. They could even send e-mails to remind people to go and visit them again. That's the height of their wretchedness. They have scammed many and have kept scamming people. Let us spread the word that they are a scam so people will not get fooled at all. To those who want to know more, here is the link which confirms their scamming activity http://webupon.com/web-talk/readbud-get-paid-to-read-articles-is-a-scam/

They actually had the gall to send me an email yesterday reminding me that I hadn't visited in a while. I already reached $50 on August 18th last year. I claimed and have never heard another word from them, in spite of sending three support tickets. Of course, I replied to the email, thanking them and pointing out that I had never heard anything. I very much doubt, however, that they even read emails or support tickets!

I am in the same boat as you are and have given up. Somehow low paying writing and reviewing sites open to Indians seem to be better at being honest paymasters than high paying ones. As long as online earnings interest us, there will be scams. If only there was a way not to get disappointed this way!

Hi webearn,I agree, that there was fool proof method by which we could distinguish the genuine sites from the scam sites ...As of now we have to go by word of mouth. In the case of readbud, there are some members still convinced that they would get paid at some stage or the other...all the best and have a great week ahead

hi Lou, Readbud uses different tactics to delay or fore go payment to those members who are either reaching payout or have already reached their minimum payout amount.I too hardly got any links after I was 40 dollars up, but I kept on and somehow managed to reach 50 dollars and request a payout, and now since about 6 months am in the process of waiting. I am sure that none of the members are going to get paid...

There are actually a lot of scam sites that are still online. Some of them have been existing for years and it really surprises me as to why people are still being deceived by them. Just few days ago, someone tried to refer me to surfjunky when that site has been a scam since 2003! Although most of these scam sites that are online no longer pay members at all, there are a lot of them that pay few members in order to entice gullible members to join and worse to even upgrade. Whenever I advise other people from joining those scam sites that still pay, I always get a rebuttal about these sites being able to pay therefore they're not supposed to be scam sites. Sometimes, people just have to learn the hard way. Anyway, I've already tried my best to warn them.

Hi yallit, thats right thats how those scam sites manage to survive, by paying a select few members and spreading the word to lure other members to contribute so that they earn steadily. There are some discussion sites too who work the same way, pay a few select members their full amount and cut others payments by citing some silly reasons and not paying many of the members. ...All the best
