How long can you stay inside a SLAUGHTER HOUSE?

I'm not a vegetarian. In fact I really ove meats. However, it's the procedure by which we get the meats is where I have a slight problem. I just can't look at what's happening inside a slaughter house. Seeing animals die is just awful to me and I know a lot of meat-lovers out there feel the same way as I do. So how long can you stay inside a SLAUGHTER HOUSE? (Real yayks...)

I have never been into one, and I don't have any intention of going to one. I have heard the wails of a pig that is about to be butchered for our feast, It can be pretty be noisy and bloody. What more noise would they produce for a couple of pigs that is being butchered simultaneously?

I am a vegetarian, so most probably you know how I feel about slaughterhouses.I wouldn't even dare entering a slaughterhouse for I know very well how the aninmals are brutally killed there. I believe the reason why some humans are acting like wild beast is because the crying pain that the animals feels when they are being slaughterhouse pass on to their flesh which is in turn being eaten by humans. Humans who becomes wild beasts. Just my opinion... (^_^)

I have never been to a slaughter house and never plan on going to any either. That would make me sick to my stomach and feel so bad for the animals that are being slaughtered.

Well, in my case the problem is not watching the animal being killed but the smell inside a slaughter house. It's really stinky, at least for me. I really dislike the smell of fresh blood, so I can't be for long inside a slaughter house. Apart from that, I love eating meat, but I prefer to avoid the smell of the killing process.

I also love meat especially barbecues and steaks. I've never actually been on one of the slaughter houses here at our place but it was just for a moment. I caught a glimpse of it since I couldn't stand the smell and the wet dirty floor. It actually made me wanna puke or something. Such terrifying things usually stick to my mind easily and they would stay their for the rest of the day. Still, I love meat dishes and even though how cruel these animals may have been butchered, I still love to eat them.

I do not think that I could actually enter one to be honest. I am all for working at what ever it takes to survive in this world but I have to say that in a slaughter house I would have to draw the line. lol No sense in fooling myself as I know I would be throwing up and vomiting so bad that I could not take it for longer then a minute.

i don't think i would be able to stand seeing so much blood, and they manner of killing as well. i cannot even stand seeing men in public wet markets chopping the meat into pieces and smelling all the blood.. i can't stand it... much more, of course if it is in the slaughter house.

I can't even stand those big freezers for already slaughtered animals...the stench of animal carcasses never fails to nauseate me. I definitely won't last five seconds in a slaughter house, I don't want to risk having really vivid dreams about innocent-looking things.
