My cat papa is missing since two months. Is there chance of it coming back home?

Hello! I am sorry to hear about your missing cat. However, I understand that they are not as faithful as dogs and may or may not return. One of friends had pet cats long time ago, he would tell me that some of the cats were very selfish or say not loyal and if they left, they won't return.

I truly dont know much about cats. I am a lover of their enemy, i.e., dogs. LOL

Awww I am so sorry to hear that!! It makes me sad to hear this, I am a cat lover and I know how you feel! How long has she or he been gone? Is it an inside or outside cat? My cat ran away before she passed away and after a few weeks it was a miracle that she came back!! So yes they do come back, I just can't answer how long it will be for you I used to get the can opener and act like I was opening a can of cat food and they would all come running maybe you could try that and see if the cat comes to you and you can call the cats name at the same time!!

They usually comeback what i know, we don't have pet cat, but you can see 2 in my home most of the time, they soil our bed, one peed on my computer UPS too, our maid caught it put in a gunny bag,took her to the other side of river by boat, released there.. Cats tend to wonder sometimes. But they have a good sense of HOME so there might be a chance that PAPA will come back.

Has he been neutered? Un neutered males can roam for some time especially in the Spring. He may still return, however a great many things can happen to a housecat outdoors so he may be gone for good. The best way to keep things like this from happening in both male and female cats is to have them neutered and keep them indoors, letting out only when they are being watched.

Dont worry. If it is alive somewhere, it will come back home safely one day or another

My cat Lolly the most loved pet disappeared and never returned and now after 3 years I saw him trying to get in but my dog does not want him any more. He is roaming around now and he even has a mate. I am happy that he is alive and is managing his life independently. It could be possible that some neighbour would have adopted him.
