The End of Life...2012?

Its very interesting when you hear the world is going to end. On May 21 at 6pm Harold Camping thought it was going to be doomsday.Alot of people prepared for this, and yet it didn't come. It's sad to me that some people gave up everything thinking the world was going to end. Some people thrived and made lots of money in this process. Do you think it's a scam? Will humans learn that no one knows the day nor the hour when the world will end? I dont know. What is most interesting is December 21, 2012 is said to be the end of the world too. I was watching a special on tv talking about 2012. Some people have bought places in moutains and underground for that day costing over 500,000 to build. Some teenagers are committing suicide in fear of that day. Some people have made lots of money doing websites dedicated to that day. Some people prepare for this day in and day out saving water and certain foods, and neccesities for survival. For me I know that God is the only answer and it's not about preparing physically you should always be spiritually ready in your heart. Give your life to the Lord and let Him lead and guide you for only He knows, but that wont be your concern because your faith is in Him. All that matters is you're ready and you can go with Him when He comes. What do you feel of these predictions of doomsday give me your feedback.

There is always someone who tries to control destiny for us. predicting the end of the world and of life is just another way of doing this. when the end does not happen, they just change the date. that way they can keep their control going. i am not impressed by it at all.

I will have to get another rain check for December 21st 2012 just as I posted on my facebook wall for the May21st 2011 date. For no one not even the Son knows when the date is. What good will Hideing in the Mountains or underground do if you are never really hidin'? I know that some people fell fear of this but if you believe in the LORD then why be afaird? :P Nice chatting with you:D

For me the end is not to know the time and date that's what the bible told to us so be good and read the bible by knowing the knowledge of it you find ways to know the and wait the time of Armageddon.

The end of life...2012? I think this is a view according to the calendar, from The Mayans, who lived in Mexico. In the calendar the Mayans, predicted that in the period 1992-2012 the earth will be purified, then human civilization will end this now and start entering a new civilization. But I believe that the end of the world is God's will. So it can happen whenever God wills.

It's unfortunate when anyone makes an exact date prediction of the end of time or the day of the Rapture, or whatever you want to call it. It's unfortunate because when it doesn't happen those on the fence might think it's never going to happen. Those of us who read Scripture know that a time is coming when Jesus will come to claim His bride and only those who are prepared for that day will be taken up to be with Him. This is the Rapture and it's not the same as the end of time. Since Jesus told His disciples that it was not for them to know the time, and that message is for us as well, I think Jesus is telling all of us to be ready at all times for His return. One can't believe that they have time to repent and make Jesus Lord and Savior. It needs to be done now.

All of those "end of the world" prophecies are always done and exaggerated by religious people, confirming more and more that religion only brings pain and bad results to the world. The world has "ended" by religious prophecies at least 10 times since I was born, but I'm still here safe and sound. People need first to stop believing in religious nonsense and second to stop making up world end dates.

I don't believe in any of those predictions. I just live my life. I live it to the fullest. I enjoy it. But I do this keeping in mind not to hurt, harm or disrespect other people. If tomorrow is the end, then at least I did everything I can to live it wonderfully.

When 1999 was about to end, everyone was frenzy because it would be the end of the world. Many panicked. As it turned out, nothing happened as we welcomed the new era of 2000. Then, I heard about this Harold Camping claiming that May 21, 2011 is the end of the world. Again, his prediction did not come true. Now, he is claiming that it would be October 2011. Boy, that man did not learn his lesson. If he is reading the Bible, he should know that no one can predict the "judgment day". This is the reason why we should prepare for it all the time. The preparation is not physical but spiritual. If we are spiritually prepared, then we should not fear the "end of the world". We can prepare spiritually by obeying God and his teachings.
