hi mylot friends, I do not know that I have stopped writing of article since one month in triond and wikinut sites, I do not know the actual reason, neither I have not time to write nor I have not any interest in writing, still I wonder how can I posted more than 130 articles in triond site and wikinut sites, how can I motivate my writing habit once again, why I am idle in all these days, what is happened to me ,once again I can start writing or not I do not know,I could not say any thing I think what is going in my life is according to the fate and luck only

For me is a lot easier to write about something I love and I know about it. I don't like to research for topics when I can write about something I know of. I don't think you are lazy. Could be that you haven't found what you like to write about.

Your mind must be really tired then. Relax for some time. Read some good book or listen to some good music or spend some time in garden. You can even meditate for 10 minutes daily. This will give new energy friend and again you will start writing as before.

I think that happens to everyone who writes. It's called "writer's block" and it's like our brains just go numb when it comes to writing. One thing I've found that helps me is to browse through myLot and start answering posts. I sometimes have typed in a full response, then cut and pasted it into a text editor and created an article from it. If something like that doesn't work, relax. It will come back to you. Suddenly you'll find yourself with more ideas and words than you know what to do with.

Hi sreedhaar, we all go through this phase at some time or the other. I too have not been very active since a long time now. I post here regularly since it is quick but have not written many articles like I used to do before. The only way to motivate your self is to keep adding contents on your wordpad when any topic interests and when you see an article taking shape it makes want to write more...all the best and enjoy your day

Umm... you're procrastinating? I don't know. I think it's likely you just got distracted by other things and lost the will to write. It's okay... it happens to all of us. I'd just set aside time to write and force yourself to write something. It may not be very good at first but I think it's better to have something bad that you can edit than it is to have a blank page that you can't edit.

I am just like you, I don't get the energy to continue writing especially if the site I am writing to does not compensate what I do. Just like what happened to Bukisa site, they have changed their system and I did loose my interest to write anymore on their site. I left the site actually, and I don't expect to exert more effort if that is the case. Well, it is your choice, if you think it is not worth your time and effort on what the site pays you, then stop, else just join other sites that pays better. I really don't find myself motivated if the site isn't paying well.

Even the best writers in the world go through moments like this in their lives. It is called writers block and nothing they can do but allow time to put them back into the writing mode. Best way to get through is not fight it but more so like breaks and taking a few notes here and there so that when the urge to write more comes about you will have some notes to refer too. You are not alone all writers, beginners and or professional do go through this. I do hope you get it back soon and continue writing again.

Perhaps you're just going through a phase yugasini. Take your time and don't sweat it. You'll get back when you're ready. Don't feel guilty for not writing. It will only lead to anxiety and stress.

Hi there yugasini, Don't blame yourself and don't say you're lazy, say you're just stuck and lacking inspiration for a while. It happens to everybody, as others who answered this discussion also pointed out. When I get stuck, I try to do something else that's a little creative as well: I knit a colorful pair of mittens or I try to make a new cake recipe; sometimes I just draw for a few hours (and I'm really bad at drawing, but it helps ) Good luck and hope you get over this phase soon.
