Sometimes...I wish I never knew mylot..

Hello there,
Am not sure if this is going to get responses, it's sad to say that i even have to make a topic at the mood of my depression mode.
Just before mylot came into my life, I had a constant busy time of applying for work. then, i also got this addiction into making videos into youtube. they are not impression but i have successfully made a movie that took me a YEAR to make (the whole 2008), that was before i met mylot in september 15th.
Sometimes i wonder what could have happened if i didn't know mylot. there are moments that this site made me anti-social outside the internet world.
. because i thought i can be satisfied by just talking in this community, but it's rare that i have this feeling that i made a mistake.
but on the otherhand, with out knowing mylot, how can i know online earning? how can there be a Mylot Conference and meeting up new people. how can I not reveal my frustrations and RANTS(which i am number ONE, thank you
). guess, there are some good results to it.
But Surprisingly I learned a lot from other people. mature young and old people in this community..

Yeah, i can't say why but that had been giving me the bad mood lately. but thank you for bugging me when ever i needed some talking and company. life will be indeed boring and senseless if there's no one else to talked to. don't worry about it.

I am exactly in your sorts and yes sometimes I wonder what it would be like not to be here, then I remember the great members here and you betcha I am back daily. I too knew nothing about online earnings until I came to myLot.
Gardengerty is the one who gave me the courage to venture off into cyberspace and have the courage to earn online. I will forever be in-debt with her for her wonderful and helpful guidance. There are several others too but when she commented and PM me with lots of encouraging words that made me make the first move.

She is one of the nicest mylotters and veterans that i know of. it's nice that you remained here for a long time. it's not easy being at the start with out the assurance of getting to know other people online. good thing you got others supporting you in every way

I do know what you mean, we would slowing adapt but we would ALWAYS wonder how so and so is doing, if they are doing okay and always remember the wonderful times.

I know where I'd be if it wasn't for mylot, stuck in a rut..I have become a better person because of the support I get here, both emotionally and academically as I find myself trying to learn math without a teacher. I also wouldn't be taking college courses if it wasn't for a friend here on mylot. Plus, I feel I have helped some people here who struggle with similar problems that I did or do..
Sure it takes up my time and many times I should be doing my homework and not mylotting, but I love it...

I am not sure that you'll even remember me. It's been quite a long time since I've last been really active here in mylot. I've heard that the site has gone downhill when it comes to the members here since I left it. Well I can understand how you feel about mylot but at the same time I also understand what you're saying about the earnings.
I'm already an antisocial person so the fact that I am online earning more then out with friends doesn't really bother me, and the people I really want to talk to I can talk to online (through my social networks etc).
I hope you get through this mood fast, remember you can go out there and have fun, just try to keep your mylotting and other online ventures down to a minimum.

There are some people who were once friends but beter as acquaintances, isn't this true? I have a friend that is like this, and it is quite annoying to talk to her sometimes, but I'll be starting a discussion about that shortly. I can understand you. Not because it happened with me when I joined myLot, but when I start to play poker online. It was 5 years ago and it always seemed a lot funnier to stay at home playing poker than try to meet new people. I'm a lot better now. I still play a lot online poker, but, now, I organized my schedule. I have the poker time and the friends time.

Well, playing poker is a gamble, thus gamble is a son. once you get addicted, all you can do is earn less here and there. sometimes you win but you loose most of the time. so, my suggestion is that it's better to stick around mylotting rather than doing something else like gambling online

That was sad Let.if you did not know Mylot you should be working now. But you can be working and at the end of the day, you are doing Mylot. Anyway, Mylot is part of your decision five or four years ago, depending on the time you become a member here. You just find it addicting once you earn money online that is why you'd stay. You see something at Mylot that decides you to stay. Am I right? I Think you have to live with it, and do some other things like applying for job or about your personal life. Mylot will still be part of your life even though you are focus on different things. I learned from the members that is why I keep on coming back. And I think mylot became part of my system.

i hope the good results from being in mylot outweigh the depression you are feeling right now lk. and i hope the feeling will pass soon.
there are times when there's some time to kill, it's like as if time is killing you instead. or something to that effect. hehe i don't know how else to put it.
but this enough is true... whatever you are feeling right now will soon pass. it's a mood we get sometimes when your mind starts working and your outlet can't keep up. i guess you have to be busy as a bee again to keep these moods at bay.

yeah, it shouldn't. because there are more productive ways to overcome it. and you can mylot away whenever these moods take over you. at least you can post your rants and more, and earn from it. hehe

LetranKnight: I know exactly what you mean. I was introduced to mylot about 3 years ago. At that time it only took me 2 weeks to get to my payout because I was soooo active.
I literally lived on mylot. Even when I was sleeping I would wonder what discussions was I missing on mylot or did anyone respond to my post yet? It was bad. Then one day I just quit. Then here 3 years later I am back on here and active everyday like I was 3 years ago. This time it gets worst because when I am at school I find myself in the computer lab on mylot or using my ipad to check mylot.

two weeks is basically short period of time i think. when i was a newbie it literally took me two straight months to earn my way to 10$. well, am glad that am not the one who's also living literally though this site. well, facebook isn't so much attractive to me unless some one talks to me i think

Hi Letran Knight: I think that's really sad. But if you think that Mylot is the reason why you have stopped doing some things that are also important for you and that you became antisocial because of the site, then you shouldtry tocontrol better the hours spent on the site. I think that if we have a good control of our activities you can have a good list of priorities so that a good activity like being here on the site doesn't affect the rest of the things you do.

You got my attention, that is for sure. Since I have been here at Mylot, I have only had eyes for Mylot. I don’t want to do anything else. Is that bad? Nope.. not for me… because I know when I really have to work, I can do it. I do put Mylot away to get my chores done.. but I mylot when I’m up and I mylot when I am in bed until I am ready to sleep. I hope to get at least 1000 posts a month behind my name… hope hope hope!!!!
Online earning is great. I have other places where I earn money also each month… I have passive income from my writing that is very handy to have. What better place to come and rant when you need to!
