Seriously MYLOTTERS
Can we stop it already? Even THIS discussion is going to end up being one of THOSE discussions. I keep seeing people complaining about how others are making discussions instead of reading the guidelines, or blah blah blah, and they're talking about repetition! Well THEY are repeating a discussion in themselves, I can't begin to tell you how many people have made discussions complaining about how others don't read the guidelines and get their discussion deleted.
THIS rant discussion is a repeat itself, atleast ONCE because I'm pretty sure I've made this note a long time ago myself.
So just mylot and
quit yer belly aching!
Agree? Disagree?

I agree. It doesn't do any good. Just let those discussions be deleted and move on. We don't need a million discussions telling about how other people are disobeying the guidelines. Writing about it again and again isn't going to do any going to change anything. It's just annoying.

Especially with new members joining every day, atleast ten join a day I presume, but I'd reckon much more then that really do. All we're doing is wasting discussions / time.

Exactly. Mylot will take care of any discussion repeats here. They will either allow it or not allow it. It is nothing for any of us to make a big deal out of. Either reply to it or delete it, simple as that!

Yes, I agree. We should just enjoy being on Mylot and not worry about our discussions and whether or not they get deleted by the admin for repetition. I am not one of those people that make up discussions because I have a hard time thinking up discussions that people would be interested in responding to.

I think it is understandable to the newbies. They soon discover that there are common themes in discussions. And repetitions. And then they start discussions about it.
Usually, it takes a while for people to realize how silly they were at the start of their journey to myLot.

I had one person tell me yesterday that 'they are not a person that reads guidelines'. Can you believe it? I would quit telling them how to do stuff and make them either read the instructions or go off the site. Hopefully we'd get rid of alot of idiots that way! This probably will be a discussions within a discussion. I don't see the problem with it. There should be a site www.foridiots.com

And how right you are ...
I must agree Petersum when he said there is no rules, are guidelines and with that name ... you must espect large tolerance ...
However, it seems that mylot is facing a newbies little tsunami and it may be - at least in part tine - our (older members? veterans?) duty to call for discipline ...
Yet I see your point and I guess I understand your .. anger
