Hello MYLOTTERS, Sometimes when i read discussion it seems interesting but when i just try to respond on it i don't find words to write down and go to the next discussion.DOES IT HAPPEN WITH YOU?? Or do you write whatever comes in your mind??? I read many discussions daily but when it comes to responding i could manage to respond to only 40% of those.DO YOU ALSO FEEL SO??? Or you always respond to the discussion you read?.

Same thing happened to me.I tried to response whatever I read, but its really hard to response sometime for myself.I could not find the sentences to express. So,I keep myself just for reading. Same thing happened when I got response from others.I could find reply words and I feel same that I could response him.

Hello Jaiho, But i like your way to respond to the discussion as these are lighter & makes feel good. @ Thesids i do that sometimes when don't find words i check out the responses and then get some clue to respond to it.

I always try my best to leave a response that has been completely thought out. There is nothing I hate more than when I start a discussion and get a response such as "good topic". Sometimes I skip over a discussion because I can't think of a relevant response, and sometimes it is because I really don't understand what the person is trying to say and/or ask. Therefore, I usually read many more discussions than I respond to.

Hi rmore, Same here. I always read around to get the flow of the discussions. From there, I always get the idea and thoughts all around. I find it more easy to read discussions than to start one. After a while, I always learn something good.

Hello rmorefield & rog0322, I also find it difficult to respond to almost all the discussion i read. But sometime responses which are posted by others also help to respond to the discussion.I also basically read discussions & i feel its always not necessary to respond to all discussions. Reading discussions also gives pleasure & fun.

Well without reading no one can reply which is natural thing. Once I complete the reading and get understanding what the topic is about than I don't think hard to make a reply, I just go with my thoughts and its natural flow. I never try to make some extra, heavy, thoughts but just go with my nature. But sometimes when topic is related to some serious and thoughtful matter than Yes I think before replying.

Yes, this happens too to me. I usually let the flow of information into my mind and start from there. Whenever I processed the information from a discussion my mind will go to work, creating what I would respond to in this case. I experienced just getting into the processing stage then my mind didn't functioned for the creation stage. I do notice that it happens to me whenever I was previously busy before mylotting or whenever I had many things in my mind at the same time. I don't respond to all the discussions I read because some discussions happen to be more interesting or make me inclined to reading it rather than commenting to it.

Hello Agent, I also find it interesting to read discussions & responses as main motive here on MYLOT is fun for me and i do get it by reading also not necessarily i need to respond it. Definitely it happens when we are not focussed we tend to loose thoughts/ideas while responding discussions.

Some days I feel that way a lot. Or sometimes it is just the same old thing, and I do not want to respond. I think if I am tired that is a problem as my mind is not as sharp and I really want to be appropriate and I definitely do not want to be rude or unhelpful.

Hello GG, It happens with me also that i want to be relevant to the topic thats why when i see that my response is not contributing i just delete it and move on to the other discussion. And its good that i do not write a response than to have a bad response.

I think it is a very good discussion. Because there are many person who always think before posting any discussion or before posting any response. If I talk about me then sometimes I think when I find any really good discussion. But mostly time I never think before posting any discussion or before posting any response.

Hello Anurag, Before starting discussion i was in doubt whether i use to think a lot while responding but after reading responses of most of the MYLOTTERS i am sure that i am not alone there are lot of people like me & its a normal feeling. But it seems you are different & thats also good thing because when you don't think there are chances that you put true response but when you think a lot there are chances that you manipulate response.

Hi there! how are you? Yeah, sometimes its hard to find the words we write down. it has happened to me, i guess I'll go back to the discussion if i can't find anything to say yet. I also write whatever I know comes to my mind. Sometimes I respond to the discussion that I read. I guess we are in discussion block if we can't think of what to write about on discussion or how to respond to it. Move to the next one and then go back to the other one when you get the chance to respond.

Hi there, Many times as soon as I read the topic my fingers and brain are in sync and I can respond immediately. There are times I read a full topic and the responses and not respond, especially if I don't want to duplicate then I won't respond. There are many topics that I can read specifically to read and be informed and not respond to daily. Really depends on the interest and or if I really have anything useful to respond with.

Hello HWG, Thats true when i also see it that there is little scope for me to write in response i also feel its better not to respond.I always prefer not to respond to topic which are not of my interest.Sometimes it happens when i am not in a mood to write i simply read discussions and responses.

HI It happens with me too. After reading and writing some words for response I just skip the discussion and go for the next one. Its just like you mentioned, that not finding proper words. May be its a common thing for all.

Hello AKP, After long time i have been seeing you were you busy with offline work???? When i was starting this discussion i thought as if i am alone who thinks like this but when i saw the responses i came to know that most of the people think like this and its just a normal feeling. But now i have started book marking those discussions and now i come back again to those discussions as now after some time gap new ideas come in my mind so that i can respond.

As i read the discussion, i already have answers in my mind. But before putting them into writing, i would still ponder on it for a moment to see if my answer is appropriate to what is really being discussed.

Hi sjvg1976, Its funny that you bring up this particular topic, as when Im reading through the discussions I feel like I have something to say on the post, but when it actually comes to typing it.. Its like, should I say that?. Or the most popular (*with me*) is, thats not the right kind of opinion..so then I skip to the next discussion.. LoL Now..I just respond to what I feel comfortable typing back to..otherwise there is no point in commenting if I dont feel like my words are not suitable. (",)

i know exactly what you feel on your first statement. It happens to me always. Sometimes I just write and write whatever it is that comes off ym mind without thinking at all if I have the right spelling or grammar, I just need to let out all my ideas before they disappear. But there are times that I think first before I respond. Sometimes, there are days that whatever discussion I read, I just respond and respond and just saying whatever it is that I think about the topic. It just really depends on my mood.

Hello APSC_girl, Welcome to MYLOT Family. When i was new to MYLOT i also don't use to think a lot whatever used to come in my mind i used to write as response but lately i have developed this habit to check my response before posting it.And i also think sometimes it depends on my mood.

This happens to me a lot as well. Though, before I usually try to respond I already think about how I'm going to start the response. I usually think about the first two lines and then just go from there, though there are really times when I just get a blank and instead of posting the response, I instead just delete it altogether. I am guilty of not really reading through the discussion as well if the topic sentence already gives me some ideas on what I could comment about it. I also don't really all of the discussion of the author if the discussion is very long. I guess there are times when we just have a blank and could no longer go on with our line of thought after a while. Which is why I tend to type really fast in order that I could express my thoughts. Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

hi sjvg I usually do but it does depend on the discussion I read and if I know the topic so I can respond with some intelligence or not. If its a family issue and I am familiar with it and have some helpful ideas then yes I will respond.I do think first as writing down just whatever comes into my mind is not a great idea. think always before writing anything.

Hello Larena, Welcome to MYLOT Family. It is better to not to respond than to respond irrelevant.I always do that if i see that my response is not good enough for the discussion i simply close the tab and move on to the next interesting disc.

It is only fair for the one who post the question to think before we comment on them. I do think before I type, I also find difficult questions to answer, but I make sure I answer something before I leave that question.

Hello pbbsra, Thats right we always should think before we type our response and there should not be like that you ask questions you should give answers to the questions asked by the discussion starter.
