Take green tea instead of traditional tea. Take plenty of green vegetables instead of red meat or egg. Grow green in your kitchen garden. Preserve green everywhere and grow tree. Always be green in mind in spite of growing age. Always fight for green, try to make everything green except your blood, let it retain its own red colour.

Hiyaa.. Isn't it too much? I also don't want to have green hair and green skin though I think phrase "Go Green" should be only related to things that help environment being better :). Like recycle or reuse the goods, it doesn't have to be green

Why "Go Green" should only be related to things that help environment? Why should not we try to be green in mind in spite of growing age? However, if you can manage to have green hair and green skin, it would definitely be unique then because in that case you need not spend any money for food, you would be able to manufacture your food in your body.

Now i don't want to see my blood turn green! But you are right. My friend's favorite color is green because he said it's nature. He maintains a green house in Aylesbury and harvest from his own backyard. He eats fresh vegetables everyday and loves to cook for his family. Healthy living, that's what he's always reminding me.

That's great to be able to harvest and eat fresh vegetable from own backyard. Recently, my parents have started to plant some vegetables in the backyard, after seeing the price of vegetables had increased. Hope your blood not turning green when you eat a lot veggies...

I also like green color, but I have to balance those greens too. Meat is needed by the body for protein and about green tea, I skip on that now that I am pregnant. It is much better for me to have milk. I do prepare veggies and I always include fruits in our meal. About planting trees and plants, that's a good advocacy, although I really pray for a house of our own so that I can really enjoy planting in my own garden. Big trees have negative ions as they say which is good for human.

You are right that it is important to change some things about the eating habits that people have, but I don't think that it would be healthy to be completely green in your life. You still need to have protein in your diet to maintain your health and by eliminating meat from your diet, you will have some degree of a protein deficiency in your diet and that will not lead you to having good health. What is most important is to reach a healthy balance.

As many others have pointed out, green is good, but we also need a variety in our daily diets. There are some fruits that are green, but many fruits are different colors, and we should try to have many different colors and types of fruits and vegetables. In fact, I have heard many health care professionals say that we need a variety of many different kinds and colors of fruits and vegetables, because they each have a slightly (or very) different combination of vitamins and minerals. Recent studies have shown that eating a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, and even meat (in moderation, of course) will do more for increasing oxidation and reducing free radicals in the body than eating a lot of specific foods that have proven anti-oxidant powers.

That's right DoctorDD! We should retain the color of our red blood!hihihih... I agree with you though that we should go green. And the same goes in caring for our environment, we should use paper bags instead of plastic bags. When I shop, I usually carry around an extra bag so I wouldn't need a plastic bag to place my purchases! Go green, indeed!

Whoa... what about red vegetables? And yellow vegetables? And purple and orange? We're told to eat a variety of brightly colored vegetables for health's sake. I think sticking to green would make us sick from malnutrition. Protein is important, too, and green vegetables don't have much. Beans (not necessarily the green kind!), eggs, cheese... none of it is bad in moderation.

I think everything in moderation is a good rule to live by. I have to have my occasional hamburger. I don't eat alot of red meat. Green is good and favorite color of mine. Green tea is so good. We make sun tea and put alittle honey in it to help cancel out that sort of odd flavor that the tea has.

Yes, recently i have started to loves drinking green tea. Indeed it tastes more fresh and delicious. I even eaten lots of green vegetables and had taught my son to loves eating veggies now. Although we eat a lot veggies but we still eat red meat sometimes. As for eggs, we eat it almost everyday, since it is one of our favorite food. But, i am always make sure that we do something helpful to support the "Go Green" campaign in my here.
