Do you ever check your junk email?

Hi devideddi! I check my Spam box whenever I check my emails. I used to just delete all its contents without ever checking it and it was late that I found out that some important emails get to be forwarded there. So now, before deleting all the contents of my Spam folder, I check the contents first to see if there are emails accidentally grouped to be Spam. Happy myLotting!

Yes I always check my spam inbox. I get lots of personal mails there. Its mainly becuase of the algorithm that our websites has. Of course half of them are spams but it is important to check every message if you are an important client. Many of my friends mails whom i have not listed are always there on spam folder. Even the offers and payment mails are there. Do check always Happy mylotting :)

Yes, I certainly do. I have separate email accounts, for my person needs and business needs. Many emails go in to the junk side. It is necessary to check the junk mail side too because many mails which are actually not junk go to the junk side. One can lose very useful mails if we don't check.

I use yahoo and as long as I have all the email addresses I want to receive in my contacts then I rarely have a problem. I do check my junk email hurriedly before emptying the trash can incase something slips by. I occasionally have a mylot notification slip in there. Not sure why. Always good to check.

yes i check the spam what called in gmail but after fews days mainly say 10 or 15 days and delete them except the one useful for me or important to me. Many time as i register or do something and it not arrive within 5 min i got check the spam folder and if it is there got it ininbox by nospam. The spam principle or algorith is not just confusing but very reliable

I always check my Junk Mail folder. There are a lot of legitimate messages that gets routed on the junk mail box. The baheviour on how the mail filtering system works is still not perfected so until then, I still have to go to the Junk Mail folder to check.

It's good to check junk emails often. I found many of genuine emails find it's place in the junk folder.

Hi devideddi , Yes, I check my junk mail every time I go into each email account. I have three of them that I use for different things and I always check my junk mail because I have received some important emails in there that shouldn't have been. I am in business, not online, and I lost some business because of not getting an email. So I do check everytime I go into each one and I look over every one without opening them and I delete them all after I am finished looking through them. I probably do this about 3 times a day so they never pile up and it doesn't take me but a minute to do, so no big deal. I have sent people emails also that they say they never received and I have told them to look in their junk mail and lo and behold they find them. So I knew it wasn't just happening to me so it isn't really much of a concern anymore as I check by habit now and don't even think much about it. Although I do not get very many in my primary email address, I do check when I see the number increasing of emails there. I have a filtered folder for my myLot emails and sometimes some of them make it to the junk mail. My thinking is that perhaps some key words within the email is what alerts the junk folder and it automatically goes there. So yes I tend to check it often now.

I never used to check my junk email earlier. But a few days ago when I joined neobux and clixsense, I did not get any response from either of them. When I placed a query regarding it in mylot, I was suggested by other mylotters to search the junk box and when I checked my junk email, I discovered their confirmation emails in it.

I usually never check my junk emails; but twice or thrice as I remember now, I had to check my junk email as I was directed by some legit sites where I joined but did not receive any verification link. On reporting it, I was directed to check the junk email and I actually found it there.

Yes, I do and the moment I am sure that it is a spam, I delete it immediately. For subscription that I don't need anymore, I unsubscribed from it.

I usually do, but nothing of importance is ever there. Although oddly enough, one day I was supposed to work on a school project with some kid in my class and I emailed him the rough draft and said okay let's meet at such and such time like we discussed the day before in class... Well that time rolls around and the kid doesn't show up. Then at class the next day I'm like where were you, we had to work on our project? And he's like "well I never received the rough draft from you so I figured we couldn't meet..." then this kid has the NERVE to go "I have to say, I'm very disappointed in you..." AS IF I DIDNT SEND THE THING. Like excuse me, who the hell are you? lmao and i'm like UM I SENT IT... so he checks his email...checks his spam folder...boom, there it is. I'm like um yeah where's my apology? hahah But looong story short: check your spam folder LOL

Yes, I now check my junk email fairly frequently. I got in this habit after an embarassing incident a few months ago. I had bought something online and was not happy with the purchase. The company's customer relations was helping me with a refund. Several days went by and I still had no confirmation. I called the customer service department and pretty much gave them a piece of my mind. The representative said, "Check your junk email, as for some reason our emails appear to be junk and often end up there." Sure enough, checked the junk email and there was their confirmation! I apologized profusely and now I check junk email routinely! I have found severeal things in my junk email that were not actually 'junk.'

lol i always check my junk mails too, some times email from my friends too land there, i don't know how that happens? Ofcourse mail from new contacts usually land there, for safety i add them to the list of my contacts.. Thanks for sharing Best of luck. Professor

Every Sunday, I go through my Yahoo inbox and bulk mail. Bulk or spam folder is available in every e-mail to sort for unwanted e-mails, but it's not like set it and forget it. Every email users should go through this either every week or every month just to spot on some important ones. Just like you, me and others here, I have found emails that should not have been in there, like from friends, or organizations/websites/newsgroups I subscribe to. Most of the time, you would not need to worry, but you still need to go through it.

yes. I check my spam folder once quickly before deleting. It is advisable to check before deleting.

I always get junk mail, and most of it goes into my junk/spam box. The spam often accumulates and steals some of my storage space in GMail, so that's why I always check the spam box regularly to clear it out. I happened to find some legit e-mails in the spam box, so I'm just a bit thankful for my junk clearing routine, because I'm always able to find "ham" mail and put it back where it belongs.

Hello Devideddi. Yes I receive a lot of junk emails currently I have 1701 which automatic each 7 days hotmail erase but I continue receiving. I don't receive important things there maybe one or two time I have found something important but most of them are junk mails.
