Lazy Sundays

Yes it's that day of the week again....Sunday, I'm always kinda torn between liking it and hating it. Sundays are all about being lazy, eating and watching a good movie but in the back of my mind I think about having to go back to work on Monday which makes it also a little stress full. Do you enjoy your Sundays?

Ha ha. I feel the same way. I have had this thing with Sundays since I was a kid with school and now work. Sundays are nice but way too close to Monday to enjoy properly But once we make the most of them that is all that matters

On second thoughts, Sundays are not so bad as it is the only day the two of us have off together

I wish my Sunday was going to be a lazy day. I have been so busy getting my paper done for graduate school that today will be the day I catch up on my housework. Tomorrow after husband gets off from work we will be painting our kitchen. I have to take everything out of the cabinets and also move things around. My computer/craft room may also be our temporary storage room. I need a lazy day, but I know it will not be today.

Don't remind me of painting....I've been wanting to paint my Living and Dining room for month now but my Honey is sooooo lazy and he keeps putting it of all the time. Before the year is over I will have painted though or else

I hope you get to paint the rooms soon. I want to paint the whole house by the end of the year and if I am persistant enough it will get done. Next year we will get the siding on our house done and hopefully the flooring. I want to get rid of the carpeting in the dining room and lay down flooring (preferably hard wood fooring) and also tile the guest bathroom.

Hi missybear! I'm secretbear. I agree, it's a mix of pleasure and worry since it's the eve of Monday. That's why I do the laziness during Saturdays. lol I do all the relaxing and resting at the first day of the weekend. Just like yesterday, I only watched movies, stayed at myLot, sleep, eat, all that lazy stuffs. ^^ But during the late afternoon I couldn't help but do something productive. I washed my underwear. I don't know, I just felt like doing it when I already planned to do it on a Sunday. ..

Me, too. I usually do everything in the morning before I take a bath. So all the sweat and dirt will be cleaned from my body when I take a bath and after that, I can just sit back and relax with myLot and watching movies.

Sounds like you were pretty busy today. I always do some chores on Sundays cause I get to bored just sitting around doing nothing. Usually I do everything in the morning and then just chill the afternoon.

I'm usually doing volunteer work on Sunday, and while the pooper scooping is not so exciting (insert smiley holding nose here), I do love holding and petting the cats, and getting new homes for them...

Awesome, we have volunteers coming to visit the patients at my work and we also have pets coming to visit. Those are my favorite days when the patients get visits from the dogs..we also have 1 cat visiting

hi dear missybear, you bet I enjoy my Sundays. Recently I have tried my best to stop thinking of Monday on Sundays already. This day will take care of itself when it is there. LOL. seems to work for me. Yes Saturday and Sunday are lazy days for me as the work week is stressful enough.

Sunday is when I file unemployment, and I keep waiting for them to say my benefits have run out. So it is stressful. Other than that, it is good. I enjoy going to church. Today I got together with family. Now I am ready for bed.

I usually have a quiet day on a Sunday, but today was totally different to that. My family decided that they would take me shopping for some things for my 21st birthday which is in two week's time. I got a new watch, some shoes, some earrings and a meal out as well. It was a lovely day, and I am also going to be buying a bracelet sometime this week which will be my main birthday present from my whole family. I really enjoyed the day, and it was a nice change from the lazy and quiet days that I normally have on a Sunday.

Yes i do my enjoy Sunday a lot eventhough it means going back to work the following day. Sunday is a family day where everyone gather together and going to church together. This is the only day of the week where we get to sit down and chat for hours.

At least to have somebody to chat with. When we're home he's on the computer and I just watch TV, every time I start talking he don't answer cause he's to busy doing stuff.....so I talk to myself

I think that years ago a Sunday use to be classed as a rest day.Sunday as i was growing up was always a day of rest, however now people seem to always be working, so on a weekend they are always busy cleaning up, as well as sorting things out that they have not had time to do during the week.We try to keep Sundays as a rest day as well as we try to spend time with all of our family.

I'm usually up by 4am even on Sundaysthat's what I don't like cause there is nothing to do at 4am on a Sunday morning. By 6am I'm ready to go out and do things.

I do love my Saturdays and Sundays. I love weekends! The day the whole family is in the house and can have some time together. It starts slow and is lazy but I absolutely love it Today we didn't do anything special but all the members were in the house and just knowing that makes me feel happy

So far I made breakfast, went to the grocery store and put a load of laundry in, nothing lazy about this Sunday. I like it though cause I get bored easy so I always have to find something to do besides eating every half an hour

I guess it is because it has already been set in our minds that Sunday is a rest day. That is the reason why our body becomes automatically lazy and we tend to feel just like resting. I enjoy Sundays because it is the most peaceful day for me and thinking that most people are together are resting in their homes I also feel at rest too.

I love weekends sometimes. The weekends can make us more time to go out with friends and family. We can go shopping and eating, movie outside.I think it is good. You can have your own plan for your weekend not just like weekdays, we should hear the boss what we should do. I think you can control sundays if you like. You can do anything you like.

Our Sundays are what we call family days, where as we are all at home together having fun and also doing things that we all enjoy doing together.I do class Sundays as lazy days as that is when we are all chilled out together in the house, where as all the other days we tend to all be doing things that have to be done.

I do not enjoy my Sundays because I have tuition on those days.Utterly boring and stressful too. From 11 to 5 every Sunday- first the subject class (English) and then General knowledge classes.I am coaching for taking government exams and there is no hope of getting a job without proper guidance here.So I joined this private institution but I dread these Sundays every week.No fun at all.Only studies!

Haha,I think I have the same viewpoint about Sundays. When we are in weekdays,we are busy on working and expecting the coming weekends. But when Sunday is with you,it usually minds us of the boring work tomorrow! But if you lose your job,how do you feel?lol

Most of them I really enjoy. I have more time for my partner. Sometimes we go out for a walk or to visit our friends or we cook together and then we have plenty of time to talk. During week we are both busy and tired. I can say I really enjoy Sundays.
