I'm getting old!

I was up half the night with a toothache, I didn't get to sleep until 2 am and yet I was awake by 7 Am. It's annoying, I wanted to sleep in a little, atleast until 7:30 but my body woke me up. I figured the toothache would cause me to sleep in past what I wanted to, but nope here I am awake. So a nap before work. Ever be up half the night and still wake up at the crack of dawn?

yup lots of time mostly from some kind of pain and teeth are the worse pain for its hard to get rid of but you could try to put oil of cloves on it or hold wiskey on it for awhile

I brushed my teeth with my sensitivity toothpaste, it's supposed to help relieve nerve sensitivity after two weeks.. then I took some ibuprofen, and drank water, swishing it around in my mouth. Finally I just put orajel on it and it went away so I could sleep.

Yeah, it really helped last night. I'm going to (most likely) put some on after brushing my teeth before work just to be on the safe side.

A lot lately, being sick or having a toothache, miserable. Hope you can get your tooth fixed soon. Take care.

Sorry to hear that. We have a free clinic once in a while here. It only runs once a day and it's always filled.

I need to go to the dentist, but I won't be doing that for a LOOONG time. No health insurance.

That is the story of my life. When will you be able to get your tooth looked at? I hope it is better later on. I heard you can rub vanilla extract on your gums in a pinch and it will help.

Now it's a different tooth. I hope it doesn't end up being like it was before, the last time I had a toothache it ended in a anxiety attack. Vanilla Extract? That's intriguing as wouldn't the sweet of the vanilla cause the gums to hurt more?

That happens to me all of the time. I hardly ever get enough sleep. I cannot stand a toothache either. That would definitely keep me awake.

I just did this last weekend. I drove some people to the airport for a 2am flight, and even though I was so tired when I got home, I still couldn't get to sleep. I think I was still awake when the 4 o'clock AM shows were on TV. And then I think I dozed off, and yet I was awake by 6am. I tried to go back to sleep, but couldn't. That was Friday night. It was only yesterday, Sunday when sleep finally caught up to me, as I couldn't keep my eyes open past 8pm. I hope your tooth is all better.

Dear SomeCowgirl, I have been in the same situation as you, and I am feeling to get old too. I am the same age with you, I always feel tried, lose my passion in the dairy life. Do you have the same feeling, and I want to know in what way you deal with your problem, it must help me a lot.

There were times when I only slept 4 or 5 hours and feel great after waking up the next day. Maybe it depends on how much activity you did the day before. Although, when I drank too much and still feel good in the morning.

Don't worry so much about being awake, but care more for the toothache. Go see a dentist quickly before 1) it gets worse, and 2) you lose more sleep. Wishing you well.
