Does a Dog birthday party sound silly to you? lol I've been considering throwing one for my little Teddy bear (that's the name I gave him btw) I'm planning on making him lots of home made treats and buying toys so that he can play with. This will be his special day. WHAT you think? and no I'm not crazy

Of course you are not crazy! Every dog owner dreams of having a big dog birthday party for their pooch! (at least I do) I imagine how funny would be to have a bunch of friendly dogs coming over for a play party with lots of treats and toys to play with! Without guests there wouldn't be as much fun. Because lots of toys and treats are something normal for my dog, she enjoys this kind of treatment every day. Maybe I will be able to invite some dogs on her second birthday, who knows? When do you plan to have your dog's party?

No it was just a small party for their 1 dog. I think it would be funny if there was lots of dogs in the party

No you are not crazy but I think you will enjoy this more than your dog. That is not to say the dog won't enjoy it, just that your dog won't understand the significance of the day. He will enjoy and will like to see you happy and I guess that is enough. I don't know anyone who has had a dog party except that I have seen this on TV...Enjoy the day if you have it... Are you planning on inviting other doigs too?? That could get hectic...

i do not think a dog birthday party sounds silly i think it is a great idea where i live there is a dog bakery that specializes in makeing birthday cakes for dogs to eat they are beautiful cakes but very expensive a six inch cake in diameter costs about 20 dollars i would throw my dogs a birthday party but i have so many and if i give one a birthday i have to give the others a birthday and it is just too expensive and plus there are really no other dogs to come but i would eventually like to give all my pets a birthday party
