A unique experiment

As per Eastern Vedic astrology belief, our arrival here on earth as a baby from mother’s womb till our last breath is predetermined by the Almighty, we have to follow that track, whether we like or not; this means we can’t change our prefixed time of birth or death.
As a registered astrologer, my past experience of 27 years also says, ‘one can’t change the time of birth or death’.
I read in some news that, people these days, consult a qualified astrologer to select the most auspicious time of birth for the baby, get operated via cesarean cross-section delivery (The delivery of a fetus by surgical incision through the abdominal wall and uterus ;from the belief that Julius Caesar was born that way), to get a luckiest baby.
Anyway, for a trial I admitted my 2nd daughter in law, Subhee’s mom, in the best private hospital of the city (the expected date of delivery was 10th September plus/minus 10 days). She was admitted on Monday, September 12th 2011 at 2.30pm.
On this Full Moon day, the Full Moon takes place in calm and gentle Pisces, and there are aspects as well to Jupiter from the Sun, Moon and Mercury, plus a spiritual quintile from Jupiter to the ruler of Pisces, namely Neptune.
I requested the team of doctors to operate so that the baby’s time of birth can be any time between 6.30pm to 8.30pm, the chief gynecologist smiled, said Prof , fix up an ‘exact moment’, we will do it.
So I told them, it should be 7.15pm precise, well it was a challenge.
I was sitting on a cough outside the operating theater; at 7.30 I rang the doctor to know the status, she said, Sorry Sir, we are operating on another, it was an emergency case.
Lastly at 8.16pm, my daughter in law gave birth to a baby boy, the mother and baby are healthy, and they will be to back home on 15th only.
So, this boy was destined to be born at 8.16pm, how can the doctor show him the new world at 7.15pm?
I announced birth of this boy over phone to some of my friends in India and abroad.
Please share your views and comment on this story of mine.
Thanks in advance.

That is just rediculous. To have cesarean birth so the child is a certain astrological sign. How vain and selfish can people be? And any doctor that would go ahead and do a cesarean operation when there is really no medical need is not a very good doctor. I would just go natural.

It is pretty selfish of the parents and could have put the child at risk.

I am a total non believer of Astrology. In fact my wife used to believe and it has brought many losses to me, as she has blocked many of the things I had to do by consulting the stars. Of course one can say something worse was to happen so she is right.
Sometimes famous Astrologers get stuck in their answers, once an Astrologer was asked why Sri Lanka with so many Astrologers, cannot have the best army in the world, as all we have to do is read their horascope and select the ones with long life. Then he said that when the bomb fell in Hiroshima all the people did there did not have a short life in their charts.
Then he another day said that he confirmed that a child did not have AIDS because he had long life in the charts. Then I asked him if he was in Hiroshima with the child and someone said the bomb is falling, will he say the bomb will not fall because this child has a long life in his stars. He could not answer.
Also when we ask an Astrologer whether the birth time can be selected, they come out with a similar story as in this discussion, about power failures in the operating theater etc. I think that is a question of technology. For instance when we ask an Astrologer for a time for a marriage to take place, he will never say the car might break down on the way, or it is already decided at birth. That is because the modern technology provide timely transport most of the time.
My fate is with me.

Hello Papa!
Congrats Grandpa on the new arrival. This makes me an Auntie.
Wow he is so big and healthy. Yes with everything in life sometimes even the most precise and well planned thoughts always get interrupted. I am sure God knows why this delay came about and I am thinking it was for a reason. Only God almighty knows what the reason is and all I can say that it was a blessing he is healthy and all went well.
Have a great night.
