my discussion got delete, apparently it broke some guideline and I try not to repeat the same thing.
I am doing a case study on my site, I would try to update you guys as I try to push up the pagerank.
I am actually surprise I managed to get 10 visitors today with 32 page views since the site is only up yesterday. I do hope that would continue. I had people telling me to use social network to boost my traffic, however I like to know how do you do it? please advice.

Honestly, I do think that the people that have told you to use social networking to boost your page traffic is the best thing that you can do. I know that I do my article writing and though I don't get a ton of views on my articles, I do notice that I get more page views when I promote them through my facebook account and also through twitter.
I know that there are other people that will have better suggestions that will be able to help your further.

Yes they have told me to use social network to boost my page traffic, I think it is a good way too. The issue is how do I do it? You go to every friend to post your link so that people would go visit?
I hope you can continue to give me suggestions.

I think you may also lose this discussion. Read the rules again and be more careful, it's very disapointing when you put effort into a discussion only to lose it. Don't promote your site in any way on mylot. i think that may be the problem.

I am not trying to promote my site, rather discuss how I go the site up and perhaps getting it popular. In a way use it to track the progress of the site. I have not paste any any URL. Because I am a novice of sort, I also seek feedback and suggestion on how to make the site better.

I don't think it is their for, at least when I look at the reply send to my email, perhaps it is the way I craft the passage, it sounds more like an announcement. Anyway I hope this is all over now and I can go ahead with my case study... I am happy to report I have 10 visitors, though I am not sure who they are.

Ya, I read your last deleted post. I went to the site and thought it was very attractive. If you go on some social networking sites and put the link on their you might get more traffic to your site. I wish you good luck with this. Takes some time to get things going.

I am not sure which rule I breach, but anyway I think it is better to rethink and post rather then go fight over it.
I am thinking of using social network site but I am not sure how do I go about doing it. I am afraid to make it too spammy for others.
