My thoughts on tea

On getting up I like to drink herbal tea. I normally have a couple of cups of blackcurrant and apple tea. It is a very fruity tea. Other herbal teas I like to drink are green tea as it cleanses your insides. Fennel tea which does the same sort of thing and Chamille tea is nice to go to bed on. During the day I just drink normal tea, a nice shade of brown with milk and no sugar. When I go cleaning I always have a mug of Earl Grey tea at one of my clients houses. This mug I drink on the go as I clean. In another house I always sit down and drink my tea. My client always makes the tea in a cup and saucer for me. Makes me feel special in this house. I like the Earl Grey tea as I don't buy this tea to use at home. How do you take your tea and what saorts of tea do you like to drink?

I do like tea. My daughter likes Red Zinger and I like green tea with honey. We make alot of sun tea and put alittle honey in it to sweeten it. Earl Grey is alittle too robust for me. I get one called New Market at the Co-Op and it is very flavorful and is naturally sweet.

Green tea is nice, helps to clean your body out. I just drink it as it is, but not too strong. One of my clients I clean for she always makes me a lovley cup of Earl Grey tea, shall have a cup tomorrow as I shall go to clean her house. How do you make sun tea? Sounds very good

Ya, its definitely for the summer months. But you can make it on the stove also. Steeps for 3-5 minutes depending on the strength you want.

It is over 40 years since I have drank any tea!! When I was pregnant with my first child (who will be 40 in January)the mere smell of tea sent me running to the loo to throw up! I have never been able to bear the smell of it since or drink it in any form. I'm a coffee girl(strong and black and unsweetened) all the way

I'm a bit the same with coffee, My twins are nearly 12 and I don't think I have drunk a cup of coffee in all that time since they have been born. I used to drink coffee in the mornings. Just went off it.

I get queasy when I smell coffee brewing or it's in a cup. I can't even kiss my husband if he's just had some coffee.

I drink all kinds of tea. I like ginger tea and green tea in the morning, but sometimes I drink other teas like black tea or the one I can never remember the name of! During the day I often drink iced tea, so that's black and orange pekoe as a rule. Red tea, white tea, and lots of herbal combinations are in my cabinet and I drink all of them now and then.

I am sorry to hear tea spoiled your health and I have never heard that could happen. Did you drink too much of it? Was it a certain kind that didn't agree with you? I hope you are better...

I very rarely drink tea. I am a coffee addict...I think people are predominately either tea or coffee lovers. The only time I do drink tea is when I have a cold..then it is tea, honey, lemon and whisky

Take away the whiskey and that sounds really lovely. I agree with you, I think people are either big tea or coffee drinkers.

I love a lot of kinds of tea, but the one I drink most often in the morning and throughout the day is white tea with pomegranate, which is supposed to be high in antioxidants. I also drink green tea, which is second in antioxidants, if I'm out of white. At night I drink a combination of chamomile and a fruity herbal tea -- raspberry is good with it. Sometimes at night I will have decaf Bigelow Lemon Lift or Constant Comment, both of which I drank in the regular version most of my life. I probably have about ten kinds of tea around. I make a pot of white tea or another with caffeine each morning and drink it hot or cold all day. I make another pot at night. Sometimes a pot will last two or three days, depending upon the weather and who else might also be drinking tea with me. I don't like tea all that much unless it's been brewed in a pot. I don't care that much for straight black teas or Earl Grey. I drink all my tea with no sweeters, though I might, in some cases, add lemon. If I have a sore throat or cough, I might add honey and lemon.

I like many kinds of tea. I agree, Earl Grey is special. I drink much more coffee than I do tea, however. I do drink black tea, and green tea and herbal teas. I think I like Bigelow's Constant Comment best. It is a black tea flavored with orange and it has spices as well. I like it both hot and cold.

Oh the black currant and apple tea sound delightful. Never have had it or seen it. Will have to look for it. I like chia, orange spice as well as chamomile. Wild Berry Zinger is my favorite and Red Zinger was my husband's I think fennel would be really strong to me. I can't drink real tea. It seems to bother my stomach and I'm not really into the taste unless it's drowned in other stuff like chia and has tons of milk. Take care.

Tesco's is a big supermarket chain in England. I'm sure Twinnings make one a bit like it but costing more money.

I buy it in Tesco's. The one I buy is a Tesco's own brand but I'm sure Twinnings and other makes will make one the same

I usually drink green tea with cream when i do have a monthly period, i do have always a problem with my lower abs every time that i have my menstrual period its gives me so much pain. But my co-workers advice me to drink a green tea a week before and after my period and its work me then. I also tried jasmine tea, when our lawyer suggest to us to give it a try, and for me, i like it, its taste sweet even just tea alone, no sugar or cream.

I like teas too. My favourite are green tea, black tea and rose tea. I like black tea with or without milk. I remember my parents complaining that I drank a lot of tea when I was a kid but always running away from milk. To be honest I don't really like milk even to this day but tea yum yum I love them.

Tea is yum yum yum. Love the stuff, couldn't live without a cup of tea. I have never had rose tea, but drink black tea and green tea among others. I'm not that keen on a cup of milk either

way back when i was still in college, i always wonder why my mom always drink a hot tea every morning. for me that time the taste is not good and it's really a no no to me. but after college when i got to work i wondered why i drink 2-3 times of either coffee or tea. is it addictive? anyone?
@Anne18 (11029)

Tea and coffee can be very addictive. People need a cup of get up and go to kick start them in the mornings

Other than Iced Tea in the summer, I do love a good cup of Earl Grey tea in the winter when it is really cold. All I add to it is a bit of sugar. Of course don't get between me and the coffee pot in the mornings....My kids joke that I am not even civil until I have had at least two cups of coffee in the morning, LOL.

While I am not big on herbal teas, I did find that Celestial Seasonings Tea has a really good chamomile vanilla and honey tea. I actually enjoy the flavor of that one. I used to live in a town where I grew up that the main street had all kinds of specialty shops. they had a tea and spice shop and I went in and got to try Strawberry tea. Its the best. then I went to the store one day and they had salada green tea with strawberry. I will have to try Earl Grey tea everyone that is a tea drinker I know does not like it so I have never tried it. But since reading on peoples comments here I now want to try it at least. I drink a lot of different teas, with both black tea and green tea base. I can drink regular black tea such as Liptons cold but I prefer my flavored teas even green tea to be hot. glad the weather is getting cooler that will mean more hot tea than cold. although I do have a cup or two hot tea at bedtime most nights. Seems to relax me for the night. Have you ever drank Lady grey tea? I got to try that on a cruise and it was good. I specially like English breakfast Tea with a bagel and cream cheese

Tea? Well, I drink it hot or cold, but I usually sweeten it with stevia or honey and flavor it with lemon. Just came back from 2 weeks of culinary training and the only tea offered was black. I was missing my green tea so badly! That tea is my favorite to drink because it has antioxidants that keep me young and slim! Thank goodness that I came back to what I deserve healthwise!

I love drinking tea, especially the green tea with mint. I usually drink a cup of tea in the morning and after every meal. I feel very healthy after drinking every after meal. It's like it cleanses my body from eating unhealthy food . But I'm trying to stop because of the caffeine. It's hard for me to sleep at night.
