Do you sit on toilet bowls in public CRs?

Luckily,i havent tried sitting down on a public toilet because i can do it standing up...lol

Simply, I would never sit on a public toilet. Even though they look clean, I do not believe that they are.

No,no,no,no. I would NEVER sit on public toilet bowls. Some people do not know how to use it and the stand on it, you know, stand on their two feet on the toilet seat and do their thing squatting position. I can pee without sitting on the toilet seat and without peeing on the floor.

I always try to avoid using them, we have toilets maintained by a private agency in public places, railway stations and bus stops, we have to pay for using, so if at all i use i ask them to clean thoroughly, i pay double the charges Professor

No, i don't. Anyway nobody does on public toilets, unless it has a seat and lots of toilet paper to cover this. But why bother? We Filipinos don't trust each other (JOKE)who knows somebody before you placed itchy causing powder on the bowl seat? lol... thanks there cutie...

Yes, I am just as squeamish. I will not sit on the seat and give it a good wipe as well.

It depends on the urgency and situation and options available.

i guess that would be difficult and achy to our legs squatting while doing our stuff inside the comfort room. unless otherwise you step on the bowl and sit like a monkey.

Hi Bing, If you are in urgency how can you control or see how clean CR is or not? The 1st thing I watch is, it should be clean but if its not clean and I am in urgency, I don't even think to hang in air to sit. I just do..lol

I don't sit when I use public comfort rooms. I usually sit on the air when urinating and make sure all the urine goes inside the bowl, I am always careful as I know others are also using it. I don't poo in public comfort rooms, but if really needed, I put toilet paper on the sides so I won't be sitting directly on the bowl. I just can't help sitting on it when I know thousands of germs reside in it.

The only toilet seat I actually sit comfortably on is the one I have at home. Even while visiting I am squeamish as I don't know if they properly cleaned it and or I really do not want my bare bum sitting where someone else's bare bum was on. lol I am a squatter no matter which one I use, if not at my home. I have become very good in my squatting toilet sessions. lol

I also do not sit on toilet bowls in public CRs either even if they provide a disposable toilet seat cover, I still won't.

Nice discussion. I guess that is a nice attitude being sensitive or squeamish with public CRs. I do know many people are not actually disciplined in the way they use public CRs, I even saw others just step on the rims of the toilets, some does not flush water after using it. I guess, it won't be too bad to use public toilets especially those in big malls or hotels, but CR in market places are surely dirty.

I know what you are saying it is gross! I had an aunt who would carry a can of lyso with her every where she went. So she could spary the tilet seat down before useing it,or you could use the potty protectors.
