No iPhone 5; iPhone 4s instead

Well there were rumours and news articles last week about how the iPhone 5 would be released on the 4th of October. However, Apple just got out something called the iPhones 4s which is basically and updated but not upgraded version of the iPhone 4.
Again, do you really care about this? were you in anyway disappointed? or were you just indifferent?

If I was an iphone fan, I think I would be disappointed. I mean if its only an updated, I don't think I would want it. I would be more looking for an upgrade but knowing that it won't happen because of the 4s update. So I figured there won't be newer features on this one but some slightly ones, right? Everything is technically the same but a little major changes? I would wait...(I think), since I really don't know what features the 4s has. It may be small changes but cool ones.

I dont care. I actually dont understand the craziness for the new gadgets all the time.
Its getting crazier day by day.
Be it iphone, ipad or any other device, people just go and buy it whehter it is useful for them or not they dont care.
I have to buy a new phone but not sure will buy iphone, but surely will not wait for iphone 5, might just buy iphone 4 as it will be cheaper now.

I think that I did expect more and I am disappointed. I am wondering about investors. How are they feeling? There was a lot of anticipation about what Apple was about to unveil. I am wondering how the stock will do tomorrow.
However, I am watching Nightline right now and there is a feature on the new version of IPhone 4. It looks like an interesting gadget. You can talk to it.
Let's see how the stock does tomorrow.

It is going to be very hard for any CEO to replace Jobs. And the transition is going to be hard on investors as well as consumers.
I think Apple made a mistake in building up suspense about this new version of its IPhone.
It's all about the bottom line. I have not yet had a chance to check it stock. I wonder how it is doing.

I'm not much of an iPhone fan since I prefer Samsung Galaxy S2 anytime :P But then, quite a number of my iPhone friends got a bit disappointed. I'm really not too sure but a friend of mine told me they pushed the iPhone 5 unveiling a bit late since Apple is not that confident in competing with Samsung Galaxy S2. My point on iPhone 4S, isn't Apple starting to target the mid-low income people now? I think iPhone 4S will be sold at a cheaper price than iPhone 4 but definitely cheaper than iPhone 5.

That's true but at the same time, it also poses as threat to various mobile phone companies.

I think that it is a kind of promoting strategy for new mobile phone. The Apple company may actually want to keep iPhone 5 in secret for a while. The last time of releasing iPhone4 was by accident. Someone just brought it into bar and forgot to bring it. And I think this is time just for the same purpose. Apple company just wants to make a news for its "NEW" iPhone. It could be a cover and may release the real new phone in the later months.

I still have an iPhone 3, and I'm going to stick with it. I don't need to update my technology everytine something new cones on the market. I wait till the technology I want comes out, then I wait a few years till it comes down in price, then I buy it.

getting an iphone is not tht easy as its cost is at high,not every person would be able to get one of it.So many phones are coming these days with all those features,why should anyone prefer an iphone.

It always comes down to budget doesn't it. Well you could upgrade to another version of iphone 4 or wait for the iphone 5....decisions, decisions

That is disappointment.. so they go for iphon 4s. Well is it having ios5 os or still the old one? I guess this will be the disappointment for those who were waiting for iphone 5 since long. Even I was waiting for the newer one but I guess we still have to wait for something new.

I was kind of disappointed. I was really waiting yesterday on how the new iPhone 5 would look like. Is it going to be thinner, and smaller? But no, they did not change a thing about the outside because it is just another iphone 4. The inside was better, and faster but if you really don't care much about that, then why would you change to iphone 4s. Better buy the older version (iphone4) since they look the same. i will just wait for the iPhone 5 next year.

My friends says that Iphone3s is the best, but now 4s is out, i think thats wayyy more better. Iphone 5 I havn't seen but I belive it's good and that. I maybe could buy it sometime. But I rather wait till it gets cheaper.

I don't have an iphone so I don't have any feelings whatsoever with the recent update. Although I'm aspiring to have one, I guess this is more of a hassle for me since I was expecting the release of iPhone 5 and now I have to wait for it to be released. I guess I'll have to wait a little longer.
