Can we earn money the Iphone Apps? How?

I watched and saw the a celebrity employee from MMDA. He is creating iphone Apps and he earns 5,000 to 50,000 monthly to his created Apps. I was thinking is there anyone here in mylot who are creating iphone apps?
Can you share me how to do it? I want to earn too.

To make apps you need 5 tools
- A Macintosh (PC and Linux's won't do)
- A Apple Liscense (Cost $99) Or you could get Chillingo to publish it if it is a game.
- Programming Knowledge Or A Program that does it for you. (Eg Gamesalad has a simple drag and drop interface. You upload your own graphics, etc. The pro version cost $699. I know a game made with GameSalad that earned $400 000+)
- Iphone SDK (Can be downloaded on Official Site)
- IMAGINATION!
Explanation of why you need the 4 tools
You need a Macintosh because the program that you make apps on uses the MacOSX interface or something like that. If you could use it own a PC, it would pretty much be merging PC and Macintosh.
You need a Apple Liscense so you can put your games on the appstore. Your Apple Liscense would ideally be your company name. EG if you were Electronic Arts, your liscense would be Electronic Arts Inc or something like that.
You need Programming Knowledge or A Program that does it for you so you can actually create the game. You might have the computer, the liscense, but what's the point if there's no game?
You need the Iphone SDK because it IS the program you use to make apps if you have programming knowledge. Otherwise, use

-You need imagination because, other wise your game would just be like everyone else's ;)

Oops, sorry, I forgot that the original question was how to EARN money from apps, not how to MAKE apps. To earn from apps, your options are
-iAds
-In App Purchase (IAP)
-Initial Cost ($0.99, $5.99, etc)
-Put sponsored videos in
the most popular one is making a initial cost.
For free games, free games earn from the iAds, IAP, and Videos.

Yeah there are many iPhone Apps to make money online. By installing these we will rewarded with some amount. One of them is Shopkicks which is my favorite.

haha, it's not that easy. U need to have the right IT knowledge as well as knowing how to write programmes for the apps u want to create. It's not easy to learn because in the computer language, everything u see on the keyboard does play a part in making the app a success.. haha

Did not hear of it, yet, but it makes sense. The new phones are just mini computers.
