If you were given the chance to make your very own movie, what type would you make? Would you end up just making an autobiography movie about yourself or would you make one talking about something your really believe in.. like your religious/political views or about the people on the other side of the globe? Would you make it Sci-Fi or something really magical and out of this world? Or just one that would sell that the general population would generally like? And why or why not?

I will make a movie adaptation based from comic book,videogame or Novel that wont piss off the fans nor bores the casual audience. Because I know a lot of movie adaptations out there pisses off the fans of the original material because directors change it for the sake of casual audience, In my case i want to make a balance that will make the fans of the story and the casual audience both happy.

I'm glad I never knew the game cause I enjoyed the Resident Evil movie, as far as I remembered. I guess they should've titled it differently. But how will you know what will and will not offend the audience... are you sure there wasn't anyone offended with the Harry Potter films?

I might go to how Harry Potter movies were adapted, there are some differences from the books but it didn't offend the fans. It’s still patterned from the book with the same characters, which were fleshed out of film,
The biggest example of offending the fans for the sake of casual audience is the Resident evil movies. On its first movie it became an action film, while the medium its based from is a survival horror and none of the iconic characters of the game were on that movie, they were replaced by a character who doesn’t exist in the games with super powers (the heroes of resident evil are regular people) but the movie adaptation is a character with powers,
Then because of the complaints from the game fans, they included the characters of the game in sequels but from heroes they were turned into sidekicks of the character with superpowers who don’t exist on the game.
those resident evil movies are successful to casual audiences but the fans of the real resident evil story hates it.

so if I will make adaptations, I wont replace and demote characters

I would make a thriller with a surprise ending. If I could get the right script. And I wouldn't care if the public didn't like it , this film is for me!

I think that if I was given the opportunity of making my own movie I would make a documentary of what I feel is the down fall and the problems in the country today. The break down of the family unit. Some conspiracy theories. It will leave the public wondering and give them a reason for interesting dialogue.

I´d make a history movie about things that have happened in South America. There are wonderful books to use to make a good script. All that is needed is money and a good director. I would not try to make a bestseller, but if a movie is good it becomes a bestseller anyway.

, not that I could do it. But as I´m a writer in my own language and have read loads of Latin American literature, I would certainly know whaich books to choose and would be a very good supervisor to the script.
. So, if you know a producer who´d give me the job, I´d take it immediatly.

I would bet to guess that you could make an awesome horror movie even though you are afraid. It is totally different making them then watching them. I have some ideas, but I would have to sit and work them out. I am sure you have great ideas for a movie like that and I know you can do it.

Maybe I will make an film about my life so that I can memorize my past and show it to my children. There is not much to talk about my life but it is meaningful with me.

Great question! my dream is to make movies, especially in hollywood. I love this world of movies. I have a lot of ideas for movies, particularly for love stories and drama's. I don't want to tell the main idea because I still hope that one day I will sell it to hollywood :)

I am certain I will make a movie on the life of my late Grandfather, though there will be twists and turns in the story and it will not be an autobiography kind of thing altogether.
Here is why - His life was quite inspiring to many around, he was a successful business man too and he was much ahead of his times in not only his thoughts but also actions. He had seen and been an active participant in the Freedom Fighting Movements. And yes, the most essential reason - He was my best friend, philosopher and guide. And I really miss him.

I would create a life like type of movie of the life I have lived. I have had lots of not so great events since my birth and am sure their are many who have experienced many similar incidences as I have. So I would depict in the movie that no matter how hard life is there is hope and that one a alone can make good changes in life.
I would do so for lifetime as I find that it would capture a lot of women, who have had similar obstacles in life as I did.

Everyone wants to see the end of the world, I would make a movie about what happens after that, for a handful of people, trying to rebuild everything from scratch.A sort of Robinson Crusoe, but on a deserted Earth.And I am sure if such a movie would come out, I would be the only one to watch it :)
