First I was going to leave and then a friend called. Then I was walking down the road and someone gave me walnuts that I brought back home. I still need to go out and buy some groceries. I'm going to attempt to go one more time. I hope I make it because we need milk, bread, veggies and fruit. In short, other than soup, pasta, and pasta sauce, there isn't much in the house right now. So I hope I make it out of the house this time.

This fall has been so wonderful! The temps have been perfict! Thanks and take care. Yes, I did get milk and beef. My husband came home with some bread.

I even interrupt myself in the house. I feel old some times. The weather is great, we just got an outdoor fire place for the yard. Hubby laid a pad of bricks and now he is going to assemble it. It looks like a lantern, it is a big box, not just a fire pit. Actually we can grill in it if we want to as well.

I can reword that and say, "I start to do my schoolwork and I get interrupted" Either phone calls, dogs, my son, my husband, a neighbor, someone needs or wants something which is why when I start to take my quiz, where I only have 15 minutes to take, if anyone is here at home, I tell them, "unless you are dying, Do Not Disturb" If the phone rings, that is what the answering machine is good for..lol

Great idea, unless you're dying, do not disturb.
We had a secretary at one of our state prisons with this on her desk, "If it isn't fatal, it's no big deal."
Yes, life seems to be full of interuptions when you want to do something!

I believe in fate and things do happen for a reason. If you knew what might of happened to you if you hadn't been delayed you might be happy with the outcome. And there might be a good sale on one of the items when you do finally get to the store. I bet you did make it out of the house.

There are times I continually get interrupted and after a few hours I usually wonder, oh my where did the time go and I have yet to go where I planned to at 9 am. The phone and or someone stops me mid way to my destination. Usually it is the phone where I have to look up things that then takes hours.
Hope you made it to the store and back before they closed.
