I was clicking randomly and when I saw this part wherein yahoo is offering webhosting. Do you think it will be worth it if I use yahoo for blogging rather than blogger.com. Are you using yahoo for webhosting? Is it worth it?

I have had my website hosted by Yahoo for several years now and I find them very good. Mine it a paid version for a dot.com site, but I believe that there are free options available, but I haven't checked them out lately I still keep a blog on blogger.com and another on Wordpress. I use them all for different niches. It is hard to say which one is best. I need a professional .com site for my work, but blogs support that site too with backlinks etc. I would say it is always worth trying everything as each one has its advantages and its disadvantages. _Derek

For me, they all perform very much in the same way. I also have a site where I write about my homeland in Wales, UK with 123-reg.co.uk They host my pages well and are very easy to use. I cannot really say that one is better than another. I heard that some people have problems with connections to their hosting site, but I don't think this is a very commong problem. I guess the only way to discover what works best is to keep to ask others who use these hosting sites. With a free one, it doesn't cost anything to try.. Good luck with your search. _Derek

I have been using yahoo mail for quite some time. I am happy with that. But, webhosting is new to me. I didn't know that yahoo offers that program. I have to see how that works, and how much it will be charged. Thank you for the information.

I'm not sure about that. As far as i know, there's only blogger or wordpress, while i have not come across yahoo webhosting. MAybe there is but i didnt take notice? haha I will stick to blogger since it's been around longer. I dun quite trust yahoo nowadays especially on my desktop. When their browser is not safe, secure, i dun trust their webhosting too

I think that the hosting provided by Yahoo! would be too expensive for a simple blog, as it is more suitable for E-commerce sites. Blogger is free, which is a huge advantage over Yahoo!, but I just stick with Hostgator.

I really do not like or use Yahoo much. I don't think I would use them for webhosting either.
