You mean to say they give a plus rating and do not bother to respond. Strange are the ways of the world kala!

I too do that but do not rate any topic if I have no intention to respond to it.

Hello allknowing,
Even i also don't how can it be?.
But i beleive i don't need to know it.*hehehe*
Alex may throw light on it as he may be having the answer for it.
My guess is when there are lesser discussions started so the discussions having one response get in the category of TOP discussions on the basis of the time as the discussions which are started first come in the TOP category and later on replaced by the discussions having more responses.
I am just guessing it.

Are you "pulling my leg?"....just cause I said we have "ducks that lived in trees?"
This can't be so...is it? You're right, I gotta get my head unburied from the tiles...
and pay attention! That's a BIG glitch, again! They say, a chain is only as good as it's weakest link..AND it looks like, to me..if what I read here is right, it is software perpetuated, then it's the weakest link..needing a little "human" attention! And that, is my "cyber challenged" assessment...LOL!

Very simple...very easy! Most people don't think ducks live in trees...and I find it very hard to believe that -- a discussion with one response can make the "top" list!
I so, thot I had dug myself out of the muddied silliness, with the second part of the response! I guess, I just dirtied up the water more...I am having trouble comprehending, too this question. I did not see this "digest" post, and seldom do go to the digest, as I like to see what my friends have to say...more!
Sorry 'bout the confusion!

perga...perga are you there? We are not talking of ducks here but topics getting in the top discussion status even if there are no responses! Can you give any explanation?

Maybe that one response was so mind blowing to what ever method that myLot uses that it sprung straight to the top. Actually I really don't know. There are going to be a lot of times where there are topics with a couple or handful of responses that get up there. I'm sure it is a surprise to the people who see their topics move up there as well. Not that it is going to be a surprise that many people are going to be complain about.
The top discussions due to tend to be rather curious a lot of the time, though, I do admit that. Of course, I am really not going to be one to judge. There have been times where discussions have been better with a couple of responses, then about fifty responses or really something to say the very least. Still it is very interesting. MyLot does tend to work in mysterious ways a lot of the time, so I'm sure there is a good reason.

Perhaps they have a chicken that pecks at the members names and that is how it becomes a top discussion. That is the only way it makes sense to me since I saw a top rated discussion yesterday or the day before with no responses. I was like wow, hmm!
Maybe this will be a top discussion! Maybe if the chicken likes it! Never know!
