Yes all the time, I have been babysitting my cousins. Sometimes it's annoying most especially if the kids are so hyperactive. But it's alright I enjoyed taking care of them.

hey there! i've only experience semi-baby sitting with baby cousins. I cannot handle taking care of them all by myself. So if I was with a 3 year old and i am the only one, nope can do. But if I'm with my mom, then I'll be helping out baby sitting. The only baby sitting i did was only for 5 or 6 through 12 years old or where i help them get food or water or watch tv since they seem they know how to do some stuff. I don't need to take them to go poo poo or wash their butts for them, LOL!. I had a cousin who was 10 years younger than me. She's my first cousin and when she was young I did take care of her in away of entertaining her. None of those change diapers thing or burping the baby. I see the disgusting part is poo poos..eews. I think there's even a movie called the Mis-adventures of baby-sitting. lol! have you heard of that movie?

i had experienced baby sitting to augment my financial needs when i was in college. truly required a lot of patience though. for someone who has not experienced having her own child, it is a difficult job to do.

Well, I'm a mother of an eight year old and a five year old now, so caring for children is what I do all the time, quite literally. However, from the time that I turned 13 years old until I started college when I was 18 years old, I was always babysitting as a way of earning extra money and I genuinely loved the children that I babysat for. I really think that the experiences that I had babysitting other people's children is a large part of the reason that I was so anxious to be a mother.

Babysitting is my job. I stay with 3 siblings, ages 13,10 and 6, in the morning from the time their father leaves for work and their mother returns from her night job. This is once or twice a week. But, I am always on call if one of the parents has to go out. Also, I sometimes watch their elder brothers' son.

Yes I have babysat a lot over the years. I took care of my nephew for 3 years . I baby sate him a lot over that time. I loved it always even when it drove me nuts. It got me ready for when I had my daughter and i love taking care of her and other peoples kids. Baby sitting isn't for everyone. I also do it to make some money on the side.

I have not experienced doing baby sitting, except for my niece when my brother and his wife needs to be away for a night. the thing is, baby sitting is not common in the Philippines. Most parents here take care of their children on their own and well, if they need to leave them, they are left to the grandparents and never to baby sitters.

I have not been a baby sitter. I am not good at handling children. I think I would go crazy if the baby would cry and I think I will not be able to understand what they want or what they imply when they are crying. Of course, I have babysit before, that was when my son was still a baby. But its a totally different story if I baby site someone's else baby.

I have a brother who is younger than me and in my childhood I was often his babysitter. He was very cute when he was very he was a baby and loved taking take of him. Sometimes I asked my mother is I was allowed to take him for a walk and I enjoyed that, too. I also babysat my youngest cousin. She is much younger than me so I was a teenager when I started babysitting her. Sometimes I picked her up after school and stayed with her until her parents came back from work.

Oh yes I'm a baby sitter, I tend to babysit my little cousins. Whenever I come over to visit my aunties, they would sigh in relief and shove all their little kids to me. My little cousins can be quite annoying and they tend to bug their parents til their parents get really annoyed! So my aunties would tell m to take their kids inside the house or to the park. I usually take them to the park to feed the ducks but I'm babysitting 4 kids at the same time so they do tend to run amok and running around all the playing equipment. Then we would run all the way back home and start playing random games and tips or hide and seek in the house. I am in my late teens and I am pretty old for these games but I still play with them just to keep them entertained. They can never sit down and relax or watch a bit of TV. No wonder their parents give them to me

Hello. I was one, several years back, for about a year+ regularly almost on all week ends! I was a student in first year technical degree having to go to another city as I got a an admission there. I was late or the hostel was short of rooms so the college hostel wouldn't accommodate me. So I had to hunt for a place. Incidentally through a relative who was in the city on a tourist visit I learnt there was a family who had an extra room in their house which they could spare for a student. I was delighted at the prospect of being in a homely place. When I moved in, I realized it was quid pro quo. In return for the consideration shown, I had to look after two babies [boy + girl] on week ends while they would go movie hunting late night shows. I didn't mind at all, honestly. For I was fond of babies. The two kids also loved to be with me. This was a regular drill every week end, even after I secured a hostel room in the second year and would visit the family on week ends. However, they got a third one somewhere during the second year and this boy was hyper & nasty. But thank heavens, he would be in bed quite early which was a saving grace!!

I have been baby sitting as well, never had the diaper issues though. It's the resposibility that can drive me crazy sometimes when i have to deal with hyperactive kids. Feels like being a single mom sometimes yet without having my own children.
