Are you surprised in the Slightest About Ashton and Demi Getting Divorced?

I was sort of hoping it was all a publicity stunt for his new TV show but I guess he is just the same as the fella he replaced, I don't know why these people get married and I think you would have to be very brave to marry them, they are always going to have girls throwing themselves at them and most men as I have been told will take what they are offered.

Not at all! They were doomed from the start. Ashton was a rebound baby and Demi was a middle-aged cutie too tantalizingly hot to pass up. When people come together for the wrong reason, their relationships have a higher probability for failing. I am sorry things did not work out for them; hopefully their next relationship will fair better.

no not at all, demi is beautiful but is a older woman, ashton is young I am surprised the lasted that long. I just thought it was not a good match from the beginning.

I'm never surprised anymore about celebrities. I was surprised when her and Bruce got divorced. Same with Tom cruise.

I am not surprised. I beleive Asthon cheated on Demi. It is possible he has more then once. I agree Asthon's fame is gottan alot bigger and that is another reason for the divorce. Demi is 49 and he is 33. When they got married I thought the age difference would be a problem. It looks like it did! I feel sorry for Demi,too. Asthon is a jerk!

i actually thought this one was going to last a bit. in fact, it did last more than some other marriages in hollywood. i don't think the age had anything to do with it. especially since they had been together for a while. they know about they age differences between them and what all that would mean, when they first met, started dating...and then got married despite. i think it's just a hollywood thing. someone else in a previous post feels that people get married to whomever whenever. i agree. marriage is just a fashion in hollywood, like everything else. ashton seems like he is a arrogant thing.

At first, I thought it was all fake. I thought they were just doing it to give Ashton ratings on his new tv show. But, I guess they are really going through with it. I just thought the timing was awfully suspicious. But, I'm not really surprised. Hollywood marriages just don't seem to last. They lasted longer than many.

Now that sounds really sad. Its too bad they couldn't make it work out. Just seems now that many couples in Hollywood are getting divorced. I don't know if the age difference played a role in the break up. But I guess with the really busy work schedule that Ashton and Demi have it really was bound to happen. Its really tough to make a marriage work when you are apart a lot.

For me no because even if not an artist they get divorce how much more they are so popular they get more many to change there wife and husband too.

Hi! Everyone is getting divorced in Hollywood and I am not surprised about this one. It is very easy and normal for them to do this.Only a few relationships lasts with those who are in Hollywood that is the sad truth. ;(

Nope i'm not surprised at all. They are in Hollywood. They get married to whoever, whenever and anytime they want and divorced after few years, days or minutes. I already have some apprehensions before that the relationship of the two will not last because of their age gap. And another thing is that they don't have babies on their own.I guess for a young guy like Ashton would like to have a kid on his own. I pity Demi but this is the real world. We can't force somebody to love as back the way we deserved.
