Years ago when I was a 4-H Leader and teaching kids how to cook, we made caramel corn by putting all of the ingredients in a brown paper bag and putting it in the microwave.
I am sure you can find the recipe on the internet. I don't have the recipe anymore.
Enjoy and have a wonderful weekend.

Hi Pepai, glad I was able to give you a suggestion. Did you make it in the paper bag?
Enjoy your caramel corn.
Have a good one.

You make popcorn, then make the carmel suryp with butter, brownsugar and Yyro Syrup or maple syrup. then you take a little of the syrup and poor it over some of the popcorn, start it into a ball and make it as big as you want. You will want to put butter on your fingers or it gets very messy.

GOod. And I meant Karo syrup. You can make the syrup as thin as you want to.

I have always made my caramel corn from scratch. I prefer to use an electric skillet to do so, however, and since I no longer have one, I have not made it for a long time. This is a really easy and simple thing to make and I much prefer the gooey soft caramel that I make to the crunchy stuff that you buy. If I ever make the caramel again, though, I plan to try to find a way to tweak the recipe I use to make it a little less sweet since I have grown increasingly intolerant of sweet flavors. It's also a good idea to have a candy thermometer to use so that you can cook the caramel to just the right temperature, although I have made it without the thermometer.
If you'd like a recipe to try, PM me and I'll find mine and share it with you.

I haven't tried, We usually buy one. And if we bought a microwaveable one it's normally those plain ones.
