Yesterday was bad all through, but today is good. So?

Nothing was going right for me yesterday. My web site went completely offline and I was completely clueless about what I had to do. Took the whole day to figure out. Wanted to make some online transaction with railways but ended up getting frustrated with too many unexpected bottlenecks-password conked off, website was slow, after everything, payment did not go through. There were many more smaller issues, but the bottom line was that the whole day was bad. Today things changed: I was able to get my blog site up; was able to do online transactions smoothly; could stick to my planned schedule. Some days are bad while some are good. We have to stay unperturbed by both I suppose! Not much that we can influence them, except make best use when things seem normal. Do you have something to share on this?

Hi Pushhyarag Yesterday, I encountered a similar discussion from another great friend of mine and said the same as I say here - It is good that it happened yesterday. I believe that such thing happen and the next coming days are much better. I see the positive in everything (at least that is what many herein my offline world say to neg me) but I believe in that. I see Christmas and the New Year will be a breeze this time as the ugly things have passed. Look forward to a greater, brighter tomorrow rather than feel bad about what happened just now or earlier. As an answer to your query - of course, there are plenty of days that I can count and mention here... everyone has. MERRY CHRISTMAS

Sorry to hear about your frustrations yesterday. But the good thing is everything's normal and good today. Everyone of us once in a while experienced a bad day. This week was not so good to me too, and I was thinking a lot. But hopefully things go on smoothly for me, like you are feeling really good today. It's going to be Christmas so we really need to uplift our spirits and be happy!

Welcome back in your new avatar ene! . Cute! I have to moderate my impulses while setting stiff targets for a day knowing that there could be unforeseen obstacles. And when up against those, the best thing is to sit back and take it cool. Happy Christmas!

Oh yes. Somedays nothing seems to go our way no matter how hard we try and other days are like fairy tales. When I was young our moral science teacher used to teach us about remaining calm in such situations. So she'd mentioned that if one day was bad the other day would be good, so dont worry. I took that literally. If I had a bad day, I would wait for 24 hours from that starting point..lol.

Words of wisdom & pragmatism from the teacher! Yes, the harder we try to hit at the not happening things, the more frustration they cause. The best is to simply lie low until it passes off! Let me do that next time on!

Yes, we just have to hold our frustration of the day and lie low. Or as a friend of mine used to tell me, when you have negative feelings or unfavorable occurrences, just give them more space. So that they start looking insignificant! Hope things get better in the new year!

Yes I had ome thing to edd here now angpnano infoo dska mk a tings wil nto always stit go prrfect I've found thset out. I will want to do a propect and starts out thinker his pill take about one huur to compete nad thne it will go astray. Oush! Waw to do? Well it takes linger tis a ticking and i have to do corrections. sooooo it mens staay cool apn playit for perceutis loneer. - 25cents some seasons. Yes I have something to add here now I must say I'm one that has faced these things too, as not always will things go perfect. I've found this out. I will want to do a project and start out thinking this will take about one hour to complete and then it will go astray. Ouch! What to do? Well it takes longer than I anticipated and I then have to do corrections. So, it means stay cool and plan/schedule the task next time for a percentage longer? - 25% seems reasonable.

Very true, Bluedoll. staying cool and providing for flexible adjustments can help manage ourselves. The more I try to stress, the more unsuccessful it gets, when things seem to go the desired way. COoooool-yes, that's the thing to do! Thanks.

I understand your frustration and am glad you pulled through. Something must of been in the universe. I was online most of the day yesterday too. One of my duties was to download a software in order to start work. After downloading I could not find the program where it was supposed to be. I told myself not to get frustrated and moved on to other tasks. Today I called support for assistance. Little did I know the program had installed on the computer. I forgot to scroll down the programs menu to locate it. Sometimes it's best to take a break to refresh your thought process. Aha, happy

Very wise & cool Ollanna! When the going doesn't seem good, take a break to refresh. Very well said. Merry Christmas!

Sometimes it happens simply inevitable. and en happened to me I can not do many things simply because the computer loads slowly. but it is technology and we must be careful not to become fussy about these things. This is just a momentary thing and then everything is fine. nice day!

Thanks nezavisima for cheering me up a bit! Yes, if things seem to go contrary to our liking, we have to change to something else, like going out with family or reading some interesting book rather than persisting with the same frustrating stuff. I'll try to implement that from next time!

When the whole day passes without much productivity, I feel bad. Yes, we can hardly do a thing about it!

As Shelley said,if winter comes, can spring be far behind.Everyday,we should have good mind to overcome the difficulty.Difficulty is temporary and the next thing will be better.
