Making that first payment

Well the payment for the moped is due on the fifeteenth and I think I'll have atleast $300 by then to use, if not more. I want to keep a little money in my pocket so I'm not completely broke just by paying on the first payment. The payments are actually $270.00 but I have to pay a little more some months. I owe $946.00 and that's not including all the stuff I will need to buy for it before. Helmet, a Lock, maybe a trunk if not I will wait. I also may pay to have it delivered to me depending on how it looks when I go to pay it off. That's only $50.00 so not bad. The only thing is, the people (family) I live with now don't know I bought it and won't approve but it's not about them and what they think anyway, it's about me. In any case I'm excited. After that my next purchase will be an AT&T phone instead of the one I have now.

I would be excited also. You will probably have it payed off by Springtime. That will be so nice for you. And put you in good standing in the way of credit too. You may have a better credit number than me. Be sure to get a lock. One other Mylotter lost his bike cause he didn't have a decent lock.

Oh I plan to get it by late February early March. I definitely will be getting a lock before I even leave the store, I don't want to get it stolen.

Congrats! Hope you enjoy it. Good going saving up for it and realizing your dream. Why don't they want you to have a moped? I'd think they'd be happy for you. I am.

I think it's the risk that is all. I understand there is a risk but there is also a risk everytime you get into a car. As long as YOU are aware of your surroundings and the cars around you, your safer. I also like the environmental advantage. It has less of an impact on the environment and the gas mileage can be better as well. I'll also not have to worry about insurnace on it.

I hope it all works out for you. I also hope that your family will understand. I think it is great that you are going to pay it off too.

Yes, I am really happy about it. It's on "layaway" not a loan type deal so I don't get it until it's paid off. I like that though, no having to "save" for it and not having the money because I keep spending. I have to keep the money or I won't get it.

witch and nag until it drives me crazy, that's all they can do. If they were to do anything TO IT, then they'd be paying for it.

I think I missed some of your discussion, how come there's a family that you live with? I thought there was that apartment that you were looking into. In any case, I think you're right, it's about you. And not other people's approval. If you think this moped would be helpful to you, then why not?! I hope you get it, and get it all paid up soon!

Yeah, you didn't miss any discussions, I've just not disclosed everything that's been going on in my life. I am still looking into that apartment, trust me.

I am glad that you are working towards a goal and one that is reachable for you. I wish you the best of luck. I am glad that you are also trying to save money for yourself and still putting money towards your moped. I am sure that you also make money online as well which is helpful. Keep up the great work.

I've not been as active online because of my job. I work different hours, but now my schedule is starting to get more "smoothed" out I guess you could say. It may not stay that way though, maybe have jumpy hours again soon. I'm going to try to work in getting online and earning a bit regardless, probably sticking with this site and predicto mostly though.
