Why some people just irresponsible

I saw that happen a lot. Some newly hired personnel work for a job for a day, or a week, they might not like it. Then they simply didn't show up the next morning, or during the break time or lunch time, they simply walk off without telling anyone. Why people would do something like that, totally irresponsible. That is really bad for their reference, don't you think? Can't they simply pick up a phone, or send an email to their supervisor telling them, you no longer interest in this work, and you want to take time off to consider it, blah blah...... Won't it just be too hard to do? What do you think?

I also find it irresponsible to do such thing. I have trained newly hired to do the same tasks I was doing but after a few days they will not show up. There won't be a reason for doing such as when they were still applying the task and everything has been explained to them by the boss itself but then when they start working they tend to feel the work is too much so they just won't show up. I have done walked out once too - but there is a very valid reason for doing such. I found out how rude and evil the bosses (brothers) are to the staff and will even left you somewhere in another country. I was able to talk to the lady staff they have promised to give visa and return ticket but she was cheated. So I walked out when I realized they were lying to me as well on my very first day.

I think alot of people just do not want to have to explain things to anyone else. It is irresponsible of some of them but some of the people just want to avoid confrontation.

When I was working in the home health care team I often experienced that situation. Some of the new co-workers worked for a few days and then they just left without a word. Their behaviour created problems for all of us, because the rest of us had to visit the patients that those co-workers were supposed to visit and we had change all the lists. One co-worker didn't show up at all. She got the job, but when she was supposed to start she never showed up. The nurse who was in charge of our group tried to call her, but she didn't answer the phone and we never heard from her. I think that kind of behaviour is really irresponsible. The people how just leave without a word or never show up create problems for the rest of the employees, because we have to do their work in addition to our own work

I think that if you don't intend to go through with an obligation, you should not start it at all. Irresponsibility just brings more work and aggravation to those left behind to clean up your mess.

I hate this kind of people too. They are so irresponsible. Lots of people are needing job, and there they got the opportunity then just take it for granted? Those kind of people i think should not refer to others. Or as an employee, you should ask for character reference before accepting them.

This was happening when I worked at my friend's business. She would hire someone and then just stopped coming in. She was infuriated and that's when she decided to be more selective. It would be in the best interest of said employee to pick up the phone, or e-mail someone. What would happen if they went for a new job, put that employer down as their work history and the new employer called to check up on them? Most likely the new employer would not hire them, and they may never get a new job. Also, there are some people who just don't care. They don't think about their actions and the consequences that will happen.

I think a lot of people today just want to do the job of their dreams and feel they should not have to do do the work that many people who have already made it would do, I think in a way people are also lazy and think what is the point of doing these jobs when they want better.

Some times silence and a walk out talks a lot ,i think in my view becox there would not be any other solution for it.Only walkout is the perfect solution. Any person would not be irresponsible. There will be some reason behind everything,we should not count the mistakes of others in some sitautions,as there can be something very good reason behind that.
