We only have to put up with this lousy internet connection until Tuesday.

We were sick and tired of our lousy Rogers connection that we decided to do something about it, so I set up an account with Bell today for our internet, home phone and cable.
We wound up having to get a home phone due to the fact that Bell would have had to set up a dry loop connection, and we really didn't want to have that here.
So we looked over the brochures, and decided what we wanted to get and I called and ordered it all.
We were expecting a higher price for all the services, but when I called and got it all set up, it was about $60 less than originally thought, even with home phone included.
But we have to wait until Tuesday to get it all set up as the express bookings are full, and we can't get a tech here any sooner. This means that we have to put up with our lousy internet connection until then, but it's worth the wait for better services.
My roommate Rob, he wanted cable, so that's why we decided to go with Bell, they have a new service called Fibe. It's fiber optic, for both internet and cable, so no satellite dish is needed. It's still run through the phone line, but it's supposed to be better for us.
Setup will take about 3 hours, as the tech has to wire and connect everyone's computer and tv so it all will work. But again, it will be worth the wait.

I know this is late, but I'm really curious of whether this worked out the way you expected it to so that you could have good internet. I think it's great that you got a good deal on the bundle and I hope that everything is going well.

It's been good since the day it was hooked up. Rarely have we had any issues, and the speed has always been fast, and that's a good thing. And it's cheap. It's cheaper than our home phone.
