Difficult to do, I know, but there is a way of saving 100% petrol and having a girlfriend ... 1) Never learn to drive 2) Always date girls with cars. Quod erat demonstrandum

I think that would be incuring more monies upfront..the girl could make you buy the most expensive vehicle and drive away with it!!! Now, that is just a girl's point of view..why do you guyz make it so easy for us?

No girlfriend ever for me And I even did not save any petrol (why should I save that instead of Money which also I never saved)... But yes, I am happy to be married to her. She is the only priceless (whatever) I have.

I read it as saying that 90% of your mileage is used in going to see your GF, taking her out, going to the shops, taking her home ... &c, &c. I'd say "Save 90% petrol ... don't have kids!"

... also smelly, messy, argumentative, abusive, expensive, time-consuming and rarely cost-effective. I've had three (and now have nearly 4 grandchildren). I can tell you that children are VERY expensive toys!

(Not to say at all that I would have been happier playing trains, of course. I'm pleased with my kids - they've done me proud - but they have still cost me a LOT!)

It means the writer has not a single romantic ,idealistic streak in him which would allow him to dream of holding hands and walking with his beloved in the moonlight ; he seems to be a hardnosed practical creature.

"True love" does not ask questions. Neither does it ask for pocket money.

Hi there my little Brownie friend, I have no idea what that person was implying. I'm a woman and I've been a wife, I've been a girlfriend and no freakin guy ever paid for my petrol. Maybe I haven't met the right guy or maybe I'm on the wrong side of the globe. I'm sure the responses will be interesting. Oh and getting married does not mean you are safe from HIV...just sayin.

oh so what are you saying there , Brownie? You have men spending lots of money to travel and see you or are they just filling up your tank? And that brings one to wonder just what kind of favors you brown heads are doing in exchange??? Just asking.

Well, I'll be damned actually ..guyz here spend only on mobile calls... Most of them are still pretty much dependent on their parents when they are around 21 and when they start earning it is the colleague so that they can travel up and down together and save on petrol..you know ..far thinking...great financial planning if you ask me.

hmmm.. Allow me to add a few on saving money... The best way to save money is to forget who you borrowed it from.. Dont marry for money, you can borrow it cheaper. If you owe the bank a $100, thats your problem. I the bank owes you a $100 million then thats banks problem. Whoever said money can't buy everything doesn't know where to shop. Money is like a sixth sense. If its not there all the other senses wont work. And finally..- Whats the use of happiness ? It can't buy you money..

if you are by yourself, you can save on gas because you arent driving all over. if you are married, you can do that because you can stay home.

I would save the most petrol by not going to work.... then I wouldn't be able to afford to go shopping - thereby saving even more petrol - hmmm, maybe thats the answer ???

A girl should have a boyfriend. Because she could save her petrol expenditure. But if a boy has girlfriend he has to compensate the fuel cost for enjoying the company of his partner. To be a girl is profitable.

HUh?? Really? If they want to save everything I think they should not have anything at all so that they won't spend a cent for it.(^^) It may be true but that is what we called as sacrification~(^^) If the boyfriend does not mind about it then it should not be a problem. Unless if they are in financial problem then I think they should consider to have one~(^^)

Guyz dont admit they've financial problem till they are neck deep into it, and girls dont admit their age till they can no longer hide their age even with hair dyes. Right?

hello vandana, well in my opinion this also indicate that "girlfriends" are also on the list of "high demand" items ,and need maintenance just like your "car". rate of "girlfriends" are hiking day by day and you need special planning and precautions to keep them in your life. this demand a new planning and strategy for having "girlfriends" and at the same time make them happy. it also implies better have wives than going for extra marital affairs. also to have an working girlfriend, or a daughter of a rich! well you know better than me.

hi vandana my take is there are all sorts of inexpensive ways to date wi thout driving a zillion miles and using up expensive gasoline.Guys with intelligetnt girl friends can suggest nice inexpensive things to do and most girls will agree or even give their own suggestions. Those with gold diggers girlfriends will in my eyes the idiots deserve what they get.sugar daddies to me is an ugly term for ugly doing people. When my own fiance was dating me we did not even have a car, so long walks, movie dates dinner out was done by bus or shanks mares meaning our own two feet. We hiked and had a picnic in the park.lol lol lol

Long walks and movie dates are so romantic! Wow..Parks..eh..honestly that is more private than sitting in expensive hotels where I wouldnt be sure of having a bug around or bumping into a known face. :)

Hey.This statement is very much true.I bought my bike just about 6 months ago.In the first two months,I used to hang out with my friends and for my personal uses and it would cost me around 100) INR per month. After that,I started to hang out with girls and guess what,It costs me 3000 INR per month now.It is the double expenditure. This is excluding the amount that she shares sometimes for my petrol expenses. This statement is 100 percent true.
