Awesome alternative healing meeting on Sunday.

I told everyone that I would be retested Feb. 9th in the AM to see if the c word had shrunk (like it's supposed to), gone away (Drs. said that would be a miracle if it did that) or if any other possibility was going on (all things both positive and negative are possitlbe). So most people are praying for me Feb. 9th. In the meantime, everyone did Reiki. Some added crystal healing to it, some dancing shamanism, and some meditation. We had meditated at the beginning about leaving bad pieces to be cleansed by the Earth and to put good pieces in their place. Whether physical, emotional, intellectual, combination, etc. One person said my left shoulder seemed to be bothering me. It had been. She tried to heal it. I told her it only bothered me at night when I tried to go to sleep. That night, I heard click and pop. My shoulder had been out and I didn't even know that, it went back in. I could actually sleep. Cool! Annother person said it looked like I had a white piece of coral in me. Told her that's what the c looks like. Baby c looks like coral. Adult c of this type looks like a sea anemony. (spellingz?) She said it had lots of holes in it so she would try to get rid of it. She said it was stopping my energy flow and really muting it. She tried and tried. She said it was really fighting her. That encouraged me on two fronts. One, it's still in its infant stage and not an adult (that's when it sends out babies and multiplies). Two, it has holes in it, so something I'm, we're, the, Drs, somebody's doing to it is taking shots at it and getting somewhere. So I'm hoping that means this Thursday will be a really good report of shrinking it. Then someone put Crystals on each of the two spots and told me to tell them to go into the crystals. I envisioned the spirit of each of them going into the crystals. I'm reporting this in case anyone else has anything wrong and would like to try these techniques. Also if you would like to pray that it leaves entirely, that would be great, too. But I thought our healing circle this past Sunday was awesome! Also there is a woman there who tests chocolate for a living and sent brought some samples. Meditation, Reiki, alternative healing, and chocolate, what a Sunday.

What a fascinating experience. It is very easy to scoff at tales of 'unconventional' healing, but I think healing circles and the power of positive thought / prayer / whatever you wish to call it are much maligned. I wish you the best of results for the 9th.

It was very fascinating. There's always something cool (well at least 90% of the time) that happens during a healing circle. I hope for the best results on the 9th,too. Thanks and take care.

Wow...that sounds like an amazing session. Sounds like a group of very talented and interesting people. I wouldn't even know where to start to find people like that. There are people in the mountains here that practice stuff but I don't know them and I don't know how they would react to me just strolling up. So..tomorrow's the say huh? Well...prayers..well wishes...thoughts...and anything else that comes to mind will be with you from me tomorrow. Take care.

I find that if I pray and ask for the people I need in my life, they happen to meet me. Thank your for the prayers and well-wishes.

I'm so glad that there was positive news. It is amazing how people can just "show up" out of nowhere isn't it? Thanks for the best response!

Personally I have heard of things like this, and how they can be helpful but due to my Religious beliefs, I am not sure I could ever consider trying them. But for you if they are going to help you in your situation, that is a positive not. I have not heard of people around here that do this type of thing to even look into it if I should ever even consider it.

The histery of the branch of Reiki that I was taught is Christian as well as Asian. A minister ran a service, he was new and normally the older ministers ran it, but they were at a conference. After the service, but before dismissing the future ministers at the service, he asked if anyone had any questions. One future minister raised his hand and asked: "If Jesus could heal and the apostiles could heal and we're following in Jesus and the appostiles' footsteps, then why can't we heal?" He had no answer. But he said he would find one. The other ministers came back and didn't really have an answer. So he set out to find the answer. He went through the Bible, then every religious book on healing in every country in the world that he could find. Then he went to Asia and the monks said that if you want to know the answer, then why don't you go to the top of the mountain and ask God. There is also a lot about what he went through that I'm skipping for space sake. At any rate, he went to the top of the mountain and prayed for an answer for 3 days. Now this part is one that I need to review, but basically God answered that people hadn't really sincerely asked like he had and then a light came down to his hands and to his head from the sky. Anyway, he came down from the mountain and hadn't eaten for three days. He came upon a farmhouse with the words "Homecooked meals" in many languages. So he asked what they had to eat. They asked where he had come from. He told them the mountain. They insisted he drink soup brothe because of his fasting. He said he wanted the meal. He was hungry. They told him he would be sick. He told them he wouldn't. They told him to throw up outdoors and showed him where the outhouse was. He ate meat, vegetables, everything he wanted. He started to get sick. He held his hands on his stomach and the sickness went away. If you get someone who can tell you that story of the origin and that they stay strickly with that and medical massage or just that, no massage, then it shouldn't be against your religion. At our healing circles, we honor all religious beliefs and healing traditions as long as they don't get too far out like no walking on coals, no beds of nails. We feel that everyone is part of the answer. If a person who comes is a Jew, then fine. If the person is Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist, Sik (pronouced seek), Ba'hai Faith, believes in Shamanism, etc., fine. So probably some of what goes on in the circle such as Hawaiian Reiki might be out of your range of beliefs. But I find that love is the common threat that binds. After all, the really only important commandment is to love one another. If you do that, you won't violate the other 10 commandments anyway. Plus Jesus was a good example. He healed sinners despite not being one himself. He helped the Lady at the well. The Good Samaritan was better than the people who went to Synogog that day. I find the more I learn of other Faiths, the more strongly I delve into and learn about my own as well as others. It's less of a test of your Faith and more of a learning experience. What you do with all the information is up to you. Thanks for responding. Peace and healty be to you my friend.

I am pleased that you feel so uplifted. I know how that shoulder thing must have felt. I had some other issue with my shoulder, but it was indeed very painful for many months. My chiropractor actually taught my husband what to do that literally fixed my shoulder. I think my hubby has a special healing touch, at least for me. So we do a lot of myfascial release and trigger point stimulation. Man, I am glad your shoulder is better.

I'm glad your husband has a healing touch. I always feel better when my husband is home. Glad I can rest now, too. Except that my body is now trying to have me sleep for the last two days to catch up.

This sounds very interesting. I used to be a member of a circle of alternative, new age folks and really enjoyed it. I don't remember why i quit going. I use a large rose crystal on my headaches causes from stress, teeth and allergies. It really helps. I have cancer on both sides of my family and so I do some meditations to keep it away. I hope your Dr. visit today is a joyful one. Sounds like you had a nice Sunday. More of those to come I hope.

hi friend. so sorry but I did not know you had the "big c" well if there's any compliment, I don't think it sounds much worst than in the past especially during the 60s and 70's cause we have already made quite a few advances in medicine, yeah think it's your right to have theraphy conventional or non-conventional if that is what you think will make you well. Hope you can visit the Philippines ( be glad to accompany you), we have psychic surgeons that operate with nothing more than their hands, there are also a lot of diet that helps and so glad that we have the internet right now where people can share experience, yes prayer that we cannot count out so count me as one of those praying for your recovery ( I have another Mylot friend whom I am also praying for) , best luck friend and hope the test come out favorably
