I had a CAT scan and the Dr. said the spot in my lungs deflated. The one on the side of my operation shrunk. The one he's not sure if it's cancer or just a swollen lymph node is the same.
I asked if this was good and he was emphatic and ecstatic that it was excellent. So that was great!
I told him that some of my praying friends called me and said it would be half gone and some of my praying friends said it would be all gone. He told me to tell my praying friends that it's half way between half and all gone (he's not counting the unknown one). He told me to keep my praying friends praying.
So we're continuing this course of chemo with some modifications. The benedrill is at 25mg instead of 50 mg and no whatever that crap beginning with a z is. The benedril at that level was too high for me and the z constipated me so badly that I almost passed out trying to go.
The modifications were great! I didn't oversleep my catetorizing and I can confortably go to the bathroom.
Normally, if we're lucky, we have one volunteer to comfort us or a masseuse to do a neck and shoulder massage. We had a cute little therapy dog come visit. Oh he loved me so much. I told him I liked him very much too, but there were many other people he had to visit. He has two cats of his own, so he loved the cat smell on me.
Then we had the harp person. She played about 6 melodies. That was so beautiful.
Then the masseuse. What a day.
So have you had very good results lately? Have you had volunteers at the hospital or other places come visit you"? Have you had a massage lately? Have you heard harp music lately?

It is wonderful that you have all those supportive people and animals to help care and comfort, and such a positive doctor. I know that when I took a social services course there was a great deal of emphasis on a certain harp artist for soothing and healing music. I have also seen and heard of a special kind of recliner with built in speakers that play the harp music and it goes through your body to sooth and heal. Hubby does the massage I need, but I do need him to work on an elbow and tendon area that I have injured. All of my friends seem to be in pain and needing prayer and support.

Yes, that was really neat. Usually you only get one of the 3, but during the holidays, we didn't get any. So it was nice to see them back and making up for lost time.
I'm sorry your elbow and tendon are injured. I hope they feel better after he massages them and after they feel better soon.
Yes, there seems to be quite a list of people who need prayers. My cousin who is paralysed from the shoulders down is now able to move 3 fingers or her right hand after some very painful botox shots. Seems she can feel pain and that's about it. But she's very happy to be able to move anything. She fell the same week I started chemo the first time last year. So it's been since May.

We also are haveing health problems, my daughter is having trouble getting well enough after surgery to return home. She is in a hospital which also offers all the perks you have spoken about, these are helping her keep her spirits up. Prayers are wanted here also. Prayer helps, even if you don't believe it attracts positive energy and we all need more of that.

I do believe in prayer. More than you will ever know. I will pray for savypat's daughter, to be sure, I will pray that she gets well enough to go home and continues to get well thereafter.
Thanks and take care.

Broken vertibraes, that sounds horribly painful. I hope everything goes well and you get mended fast.
I hope you're at a level where she can work on you by then.
Speedy recovery, I'm wishing for you. Get well soon.

Sounds like you had a grand day. I love harp music. I listen to Irish harp on You Tube sometimes. We have three cats and love them dearly. They each have their own characters. Glad all is going well for you.

That's great news!!! I am so glad to hear it!
I have not had a massage in what seems to be a hundred years. I need to go. I haven't heard any harp music but if we can stay in the string family with this my b/f and his friend has been [laying the roof off lately.
I am hoping for a good result Tuesday on my final exam. Not medical related but I sure have been praying for it..lol..I think I almost have that teacher where I want her and I haven't ended up in a museum yet.

Hi writers
Finally I have something to feel happy and cheer about this week.
You know, the most of the week was quite boring and I was kind of upset because of the small eerie comment here from another close friend. But reading this brings me some real happiness.
I am happy to read that the spot in your lungs is healing up. This is really good news. The medicines advised now are with lesser potencies and this too brings happiness as this does indicate that these stuffs are getting healed.
I always have you (and HWG) in my prayers. Though I keep myself update with your discussions I miss her much these days as it has been a real long time she has been away. And I am worried about her - hope and pray she is doing well.
