Just a simple question why join facebook?

It is a place to keep up with family and friends, but the most important of all is the fellowship, teachings, and music I receive there. I don't know if you remember, but where I live, no one has the same beliefs as I, so there is no place to go and worship. So, from Friday night to Saturday night, I interact with others who also have the same beliefs and they keep me going..:D

i use facebook just to be updated with all of the other artists who are in facebook. they have this group page where all other people who share the same interests as you can discuss. they're not paying, but still, i'm building my fan base there. i can also announce my videoblogs there. maybe if mylot can give other features like what facebook or other social media sites are giving us, i think that would be great.

No, LOL, Facebook does NOT pay. You join it just for the same reason you join any other social networking site. To network, socially that is! I do it to keep in touch with friends, family, co-workers, and people I used to be friends with many years ago or back in high school. It's interesting to what they look like now, and what they're up to after so many years.

Yes I am on facebook and yes it's a social site.I am on facebook to get reunited with my friends and relatives too.Many things can be done on facebook like update your status, upload your pictures and videos share what you have done in the past days or weeks.Share your thoughts on things etc.I don't know much about the paying thingy on facebook but all i know is that if you happen to have applications that require earnings or the like I guess that's were the earning comes out.Some use facebook for their business online I guess that's were they are getting paid :)

No facebook doesn't pay you anything. Facebook is a nice and convenient to stay connected with people you know, meet people, express what is going on with your life. There are a variety of things to do on facebook, but the reason it is famous is because it is a place to update to everyone how your life is going or express something to people you know. Other than that its nice to play a few games their. Facebook is a good social networking site. :D

I don't think facebook pay. I'm a user of it, but not active type. I joined it because of friends' influence, sometimes, I can see some of my friends talk to themselves in facebook walls, and also post some photos. Another thing is, I can play Bejeweled in facebook, that's it. Now I'm spending more time in MyLot instead of facebook... :)

I joined it because it is a great way to keep in touch with my friends and my family around the world. I have friends in Europe who I miss dearly and family in other states that I don't get to talk to or see often. Facebook really helps keep our family together.

I facebook because a lot of my friends are on there, including some people I've lost touch with over the years. I post links to things I write, tell people about campaigns for social change I'm involved in, chat, and make plans. I love Fscebook.

I just joined facebook for the sake of communicating with my friends and be updated to them as well as meet some new people. But now a days I use to get fresh news (I have friends who posts fresh news on their wall), have a group page where I can relate to people, do our group meetings at school there, post pictures and play games. And yes, there's an app in facebook that could pay you by doing some simple tasks :))

As far as I remember when facebook is already new, my friend online invite me to join in that social networking site to get referrals in a networking site which she always encourage me to online jobs. The reason to join facebook is to expose something that I am doing online...

I have face book account,for me it is just a social site, i don't do any thing like chat, play games there. i visit there rarely, have huge number of friends. I visit only when there is a new friend request, accept it. Thanks for sharing Best of luck. Professor

hi dear free_man I am a fan of facebook. Its just a social site and its easy to keep up with my online friends lives. I spend more time there than here now.

Having fun with my friends. My friends on facebook are really my friends, I do not have 1000 friends, just the ones I want. We share pictures, songs, info and have fun.

I joined here many days ago. it is really a popular social networking site. I think it is the best. I joined here for many reasons. Firstly, I can share my opinion to many. I am a freelance writer and work in odesk. I have a blog of my own. So the first target is to share my blog with people of different countries and that is why I love it. I can easily know any kind of news or info in this social site.

I only joined Facebook because it is connected to some of my money earning endeavors. I do not use it often. I always said that I would not join it unless I could make it pay.

the only reasons why people join facebook because facebook support multi languages,this is the freedom of social network community,Mylot is good,but only for english.

Hi my friend, basically, I joined facebook for my relatives and former friends' sake. I owed a lot of favor from facebook because with facebook I could not reach all my former friends and relatives... Mobhomeir here..

I'm a member of facebook but only to find friends and family that I can't locate or to play games such as scrabble. I think the way people talk and tell everyone what they are doing every minute of the day is ridulous. I always think who the heck really cares that you are going shopping or going for a pedicure. It is truly unbelievable that so many people don't have a life and feel the need to tell the world everything they are doing. Plus don't get me started with the pictures that people post or the bullying that goes on in this site. Its just a shame that this is allowed to go on.

There is really no reason for me personally to rather join Facebook. Granted, there is the part about where you can reconnect and get in touch with your friends. which is rather a good thing in many ways. However, there are just going to be a lot of times where there is a pretty good reason why we lost touch with some of these people. Not often, but rather there are some of them. I think that the thing that many people are attracted for towards Facebook is that it is simple. It doesn't really require much thinking. It doesn't require a lot of thought. I used to be on Facebook, not often, but when I was on there, it really did seem like a bit of a waste of time. It kind of did violate my separation of real life and Internet rule. Social networks have blurred the walls a bit too much. And it leads to so much drama, even if you are a third party observer.
