Riding on your luck

Yesterday was perhaps the best day of my online-earning life. I won 3 prizes in ClixSense ClixGrid. I won 2 Neobux AdPrizes. I got my first myLot payment. It all happened on the same day. I was amazed with the more than 1 winnings in ClixSense and Neobux because normally winning nothing is the norm, and last night, 2 and 3! But the payment from myLot really made my evening! Although I had expected it but still to get it on the 9th is kind of a surprise. And because I love myLot, this payment from myLot bears a special meaning to me.
I didn't know that my lucky star would keep on shining after I received payments from CashnHits, Clicksia and Incentria just a few days earlier. I hope my luck will go on with the Odesk interview I did a few days ago and the few new online ventures I got in. I just wonder, is "riding on your luck" a valid act? I don't mean to do anything in a rash but just doing what we want to do faster. What do you think?

IT's not riding on your luck for the rest of your online earnings. U may say so for winning Clixsense clixgrid and Neobux Adprizes because it's based on selection. As for the rest, they are proven paying sites and you ought, expected to be paid. OT's simple. Just that it happened on the same day, same week, it doesn't mean u are riding on luck. It's merely concidence. U will be facing the same scenario again next month if u are as hardworking and motivated earning online.

Don't depend on it! Luck ebbs and flows just like the ocean. You may have good luck today and awful luck the next day. So I just wouldn't depend on it continuing indefinitely or anything. I go by my gutt feelings.

I don't think you ride your luck , you worked hard and got your payments.
The payments were given to you at the same day but it doesn't matter much.
If you throw a dice , the chance for you to get 6 is 1/6.
If you throw the dice twice , the chance for you to get 6 at least once is 1-25/36 that is 11/36. the more tries you try , the chance gets higher for you to get 6 at least once.
About your payment from mylot , I guess mylot really loves you because I needed more than 400 responses just to pass the 10$ amount and I'm still waiting. I hope they will pay someday.
The luck is a good spice for life but don't count on it. Keep working hard.

I was too slow to reach the minimum payout during february so I guess I will have to wait another month...
I also won the prize for searching things at the search bar above , at mylot. I won 13 cents just for searching. I search like 5 - 10 times a day for things that I want to find discussions about. So far , I won only once. I can tell for sure , the chance to win was low. It was not luck though , it was hard work.

Agree, when you plant seed,you are happy if there is fruit later.So for us,we are rewarded.
It's nice to hear,although sometimes tired,lazy to work,but yes happy for what we do hard legal.

Those are results of your hard work and patience, that's why u are being paid :) I should say it's partly down to luck as well because i'm a member of Clixsense too and that Clixgrid is almost impossible to win due to the limited chances we have over hundreds of squares.. haha

I have never won anything from lotteries although I wish I have! Yes, it is difficult to win in Clixgrid. That was why I felt so excited and surprised in winning THREE prizes on the same night! Could I not feel lucky when I could hardly win one normally? :)

Luck is just an illusion and it is certainly not dependable. I work a 9-5 job and I expect to get my pay when it is pay-time. There is no luck involved. But if my boss certainly pays me a bonus for no reason, then I would think I am lucky. But that is not going to happen. Just like luck. It doesn't exist.

It sounds like you really did have a good day when it comes to your online earnings. I really need to have a day like that, but I haven't had one in quite some time.
I know that mylot is going to pay on or before the day that I expect my payment every month and there are a few other sites that I use that I know are going to work out like this as well.
However, I've never really felt lucky when it comes to my online earnings. My little sister, however, did win a weekly sweepstakes from nielsen online for $1000 last year.

I've never considered myself lucky because I've never won anything in my life so when there's a lucky draw or a contest, I would always assume that I will not be one of the winners. But for you to win more than one prize is indeed lucky of you. Congratulations and hope you'll continue your lucky streak.

As much as I would like it to become a streak , I know "luck" is just not reliable. We can never count on it. It was a surprise to me with the 3 winnings, and well, it remained just a surprise - I have not won more than one prize ever since. To make things happen, we still need to focus and work hard. That is the sure way to win.

I always believe that working hard will improve our luck. In a sense, luck is something that is made by us. It is us that enable the existence of luck. I agree with you that focusing on a goal is a way to keep us on the right path, and keep working hard is a sure way to reach it one day, sooner or later.

hi jkct02, Congratulations for the winnings, good luck too with your interview. Well, believe that if its your lucky day you should take advantage of it. Though its hard to believe but things happen coincidentally so maybe there is such a day good lucky day. Astrologers said that our day to day living is in accordance with the alignment of the stars and planets and they warn you when its a bad and! they encourage you when its a good day. So maybe you have to take advantage of that luck before it ends. Good luck

I am not so sure about astrology. I always find them confusing. But when things are going my way, I feel happy but I really don't know how long it will last. It probably ends the minute I felt lucky! :) So riding the luck is not workable. It is a risk anytime we do something with only hope or feeling as our basis. Prepare well and work hard are the only ways we can be more sure of success.

Yes, it is rather unusual for me to win 2 adprizes on the same night. I hope I could experience that again. But to really want something, the surest way is to do it thru our hard work and resilience. To depend on luck is gambling. It won't last.

i think if i was you i would have bought a lottery ticket. usually i want to if my luck is running like that. a power ball ticket. yet, i either forget to do it in time. or i cant get to the store.

Its great to know you've received payment from Mylot and other sources.Don't think of riding your luck.You must have worked hard to earn money on the net.Now that earnings have started pouring in.Dedicate yourself to earning more and continue the hard work and results will follow.

I used to think that once was the maximum one could win in a day - that was the reason why I felt so lucky. But since such games are purely winnable by luck, I only play it when I have more time or when I am listening to songs. They are boring games.

It's interesting, imagine having won on the same day. I think it's your lucky day but with regards to your payment on other sites I guess it just falls on the same day which you really deserve.

We all have to work hard if we want something. myLot is fair. You do more responses and starting more discussions, you will get paid more. Of course we have to produce quality responses and discussions in order to earn even more. So, there is no luck in myLot. The payment is just a reward for the efforts you put in.
