On Saturday I will be flying off to Argentina and a little later on my trip I will be traveling by bus to Chile. My disabled son has outgrown his wheelchair. I am borrowing a special needs buggy and it will carry some of our luggage. I am able to attach three holdall bags to it. I will also travel with a medium sized backpack. Which baggage or luggage do you take on your trips? Would you like to visit anywhere in South America?

Dearest Maxine, So finally I will get to see you! Will we be able to take Leo to the supermarket, now that there´s no wheelchair for him? I´m so looking forward for your visit. As for luggage, I know it is quite different to travel with children than to travel alone, as luggage goes. Even different ages mean different types of luggage. I use only one piece of luggage with wheels because of my back now, but when I was young I travelled with a lot more. At least, the luggage that I brought home was bigger. I have two lamps I bought in Mexico and many other big souvenirs that belonged to those days. See you

Dearest Marguicha. I am really looking forward to seeing you. Leo is in a disabled child's buggy because of his poorly leg. It is just as good as a wheelchair. It looks like a massive sized toddler's buggy. I like the sound of the lamps that you bought in Mexico. See you soon. Hugs.

Hi there maximax8, Haven't been anywhere except in my country, i would love to leave for a vacation with my Gal i think Rio would be nice, not sure if it is in South America but that is where I would like to take my gal. I think I'll just pack a big Samsonite and a midsize backpack for my Passport and cash. Hope you and your kid have a great time and a safe journey, take care...

Hi Max, I usually bring at least 2 luggage bags when I travel, a bigger one for my 2 kids, and the smaller bag for myself. Aside from that I also bring a small carry-on bag and a small backpack for each of my two kids, this is where they put their gadgets, food, hankies and towels, and a few toys. In south America, I want to see Brazil specially after watching the movie Breaking Dawn Part 1. It featured some very nice places in this country and I felt like I wanted to see the place personally.

Hello :D. I hope you enjoy your trip. When I travel for pleasure I usually take 3 changes of clothes if I'm staying in a place I can wash my clothes and take with me a half empty hand cart so I can fill it with goodies and souvenirs from where I'm going. I have been to Argentina and its a nice place, if you speak spanish you can learn a lot of stuff from the people on the streets since most of them are usually happy to answer questions if they aren't that busy. I have never been to Chile, but from what I have heard before is a really nice country and you can see a lot of new stuff.

It is lovely that you have been to Argentina and enjoyed it there. On my trip I shall be taking two sachets of travel wash. It is excellent you keep space for goodies and souvenirs.

Wow~~~ That's cool. I have noticed that you really enjoy traveling and you have traveled a lot all over the world. It is so nice to hear that you will have a travel soon. You are a great mom. I like to have a backpack for travel because it is convenient for me. As I don't think a luggage can put enough things. I love China

I hope that you will enjoy your trip to Argentina and Chile I have never been to South America, but I would like to visit Brazil, Bolivia, Argentina, Chile and Peru. I am especially interested in visiting Chile, because one of my classmates was from Chile. We became friends when we were in the same class and he has told me about his country. I hope that I will get the chance to visit it one day. I have used different kinds of luggage. When I go on a short trip I usually use a suitcase. When my husband and I travelled around in Europe for one month we borrowed a backpack from my sister-in-law. That backpack was perfect for our trip. Before we go to Asia we are going to buy our own backpack. We are going to travel for 6 weeks so we need a backpack that is bigger than the one we borrowed from my sister-in-law.

That is great that you travel so much with your son. Can you rent a wheelchair when you arrive? I usually only travel with a carryon bag. I hate lugging around a lot of stuff. I do pack an extra fold up soft bag to fill with souvenirs and treasures I find when I am away!

lucky for you have all the time in the world to travel. hopefully, you get to your destination safely and wish your son would truly enjoy your visit to South America. I have never been there , maybe someday..lol.. t s a good thing you could attach other bag in the wheelchair that save a lot of baggage fee. enjoy your travel..
