From gifts to all her friends

Just talked to gifts 2 minutes ago...She feels so much better than
\she did this morning when I called her....She was worried about
Adrian and KK...she had not heard from either...
So I three way called each of them and was able to reach them and
she was able to chat with each of them...She really was a mess,,,
with worry....
Adrian is there now so she is much better....I told her she need
to concentrate on herself and get herself together so she can come
home...ZShe was concern because there were still people there from
when she was there the last time.....WOW!!!!!

You are a good friend to keep in touch with her that way. Wow, still people there? I wonder if that is true what someone told me about some people not being able to get out once they are in some of those places? 
Not to worry though, she will be home soon, I can feel it. 
I don't know you all that well, though. So I'm just sending you some prayers that she feels better and they release her as soon as they think she can come home.

Hey, I am relatively new here at mylot..only here since October ;ast
year...so I am certainly in the mix of mylotters like gifts...but I
do enjoy my time here....But your prayers are gladly acccepted and
appreciated....
I am sure she will be home hopefully soon and is doin so so so much
better...

I think it is that some people are worse off than Gifts is and it takes time to find the right meds, etc. They want them to be stable enough to not be a harm to themselves or others before releasing them. Some people do end up staying indefinitly in those places but usually the goal is to help them get back on track, on the right meds and they release them. I know people who go periodically and stay for a month or two. It's almost like a maintanence program. They need it to get back on track and then they are fine again for awhile. There are so many types and levels of mental illness.

I enjoy my time here too bjc, I just hope she remembers who I even am on this site, there are so many posters here, etc.
Oh I see, thanks for the info on that sid, it does seem to be true. Some people need to have their meds adjusted and then they have to make sure they will be safe and others as well. I understand now.

Wow! is right. I hope she can focus on herself and get better. KK is old enough to do for herself. One of the issues though is the mess she makes. I would hate that and fret over it too. Adrain I hope will be a good strength for her. Time will tell.

I'm glad that Adrian is there with her now. She needs a strong support network.
I'm not surprised that there are still people there from the last time that she was there. It can take some people quite a while to get back out once they're in. If they don't have someone on the outside advocating for them and keeping tabs on what is going on, they can just sort of get stuck inside for a long while.

I am glad that Adrian is there with her now and that you were able to get a hold of both Adrian and KK. I know that her daughter has been giving her trouble, but I can understand that gifts still worries about her. I hope that gifts can come home soon and will take better care of herself. Thanks for keeping us all posted.

I can do...
Yes, she does worry about her daughter, becasue she was not staying
home and she did not know where she was staying and regardless how
disrespectful KK is... gifts is still her mother...and she has to
be a mother....

Dear friend, I must say that your thread, I did not understood very well. The fundamental cause is that I am Italian, I do a lot of effort to interpret the English language. However you talk about gifts, so far, all clear. Then it happened anyway, as I understand have been successful, then I say all is well that ends well!
I hope I was clear although as I said I did not understand very much the topic you discussed in the text.

it is an on going discussion about a mylotter Giftsandbags...who
is in the hospital and the discussion was an update to her friends
on her progress....
I am not sure how to explain it more clear...perhaps if you had been
responding to the previous discussion or at least reading them,,it\
might not have been so off topic to you...

It was a good idea for you to call her. I am sure it assured her so much that you guys are still there for her. If you can continually call her or have someone talk to her all the time it would do her good. Right now she needs a lot of encouragement. Sometimes we need to feel good about ourselves to hasten our bodies healing. Keep up the good work!

Adrian ought to at least keep in touch. We know KK will only do what is pleasing to herself. I am glad Gifts is doing better, and you did such a neat job of getting in touch with Adrian and KK for her.

We all appreciate so much that you keep us informed here. Please give her a {{{{HUG}}}}} for me. It's good to hear that she is doing better. I know it is hard lying in a hospital bed and not hearing from the people you love the most in the whole world. You were a doll to hook them all up. I'm sure she needed that

Hi BJ, it is good to hear that she is slowly doing fine again. Hope she will be able to overcome her problem soon. Hope to see her around again very soon. i am sure she will be missing her friends in here a lot.
