wow, nice to know you are doing well in your part time job. May I ask what is the nature of this job? You must be really good with it because it pays more than your regular job. And you are able to afford a car!

It's nice to see that you are making some extra money. I am a college student, working part time in insurance. Do you have any suggestions on how to make money without having to actually be in an office all day? Or what are your suggestions on how to make the most out of your part time job?

I think you have to have medical background to sell medicine supply like deodavid. Aside from insurance, I gues you can also try real estate.

Well by day (or night) I am a cashier, and when I have freetime I come online to earn a little bit. If I were to spend more time online, I could make enough income to make the part time work from offline and that of the stuff I do online become a full time income. I've thought of getting another part time job on the side but then again I'd rather just find a full time job and have this mylot be a weekend thing like I had done before. The money I earn here helps me able to save more, plus I like seeing the little extra in there. If I were able to keep every last penny I make from my job in the bank, I'd have around $600.00 a month in there. I can't do that, however, as I need to use it. So I try to come online to offset some of the costs of what I need, and to add a little cushion. Good luck with your jobs, may you stay positive and not get stressed out!

That's a good combination - a nurse and a sales savvy. You'll go places with that talent (selling) and the fact that you're career is in medical field and you're selling medical supplies makes you credible. All the best and I wish you success.

Currently I don't have a part time job which means I have no extra income. At present I work for the government. According to the law and regulations, a civil servant is prohibited from doing another work or participating in business. So I could only rely on my salaries paid by government. In order to acquire more income to deal with the high cost of life, the only way is to manage my fortune more efficiently. Actually even if I'm allowed to do a part time work, I don't have enough time to do it.

Hey, that's great for you! It's good to be in situation that pays well while you are still building your career possibilities. I only work part time because with my husband working full time, we have to make our schedules work so that we don't have to have childcare. I make a decent amount parttime though.

Hi there cutepenguin, That is really nice to hear, and it would be bad to spend extra money on help since we dont have a lot to spare, anyway i just know that you and your husbands' hard work will pay off soon enough and that in time you'll be financially blessed take care and let us work hard always! =

I do have a lot of spare time, but I do not take part-time job now, for I can not make sure everyday i can have several hours to work out. As now economic is not very well, many young people can not get a full-time job easily, so it is more harder for me to get a part-time job here. So after taking class, I will stay in the school to do the homework and make some posts in mylot to get some pocket money.

awww thank you so much for the tip. yeah i know how hard it is getting a job here, and also applying since they said a lot of hospitals are not accepting volunteers because they always make mistakes. but of course, we volunteers want to also learn and hope for the best for our future. yeah even applying abroad is really very hard. i am just going to finish a one year experience because i am leaving for the states as soon as i am done with that. my boyfriend was going to bring me this year but we are both not ready yet since it is hard going there without a job and hospitals there also don't accept newly graduates and without experience. even getting a recommendation is hard since most of my clinical instructors left for abroad too. thank you so much for the concern David, i really appreciate it

Hey there cherish, Best tip that I can give you is just keep on applying talk to relatives or friends if they can help you out with getting training or a job don't hesitate just go for it dont be afraid if it is a job offer grab it and make sure you do get help as much as you can, before it hits 2015 there will be few nurses and most people would have already thought that nursing is a no go and by that time most nurses have left for abroad so just keep at it and always read you dont know when the time you will need to go to abroad will kick in. Take care and I await your update on that license of yours, will be colleagues soon.

It's nice that you're earning part time to save for something. I'm just working at MegaTypers for some pennies to save online at the minute. Good luck with your savings! :)
