I know you're absolutely DYING to know what our new TV stand looks like so I've taken a photograph of it, along with the telly on the top and everything else on the shelves. It's wider than the other one but it enables the VCR(!) and DVD player to sit side by side as it's rare that stands have more than a couple of shelves. It also fills the space much better and I repeat again; MEASURING IS VERY IMPORTANT! I've lost count of how many times I've measured that corner so I'd be a bit annoyed if it didn't fit! I'm extremely pleased with my purchase and I reckon it's worth the money because the glass is VERY heavy. Notice there is a space next to the Sky HD+ box? A blu-ray would look good there but I don't want to think about that now..the stand is enough for me. I reckon the in-laws will be envious once they set their eyes on it. Haha!

I was awed by your beautiful TV stand. And I must also say, by your TV. I have read about your house remodeling and how you need more money to do this or that and how family has helped. I´m amazed at all you have done up to now. Just a while ago I remember your beautiful lamp and now this!!! Congratulations!!!

You have a very good taste, friend. I think a lot of us try to buy only what we need, but not everyone of us buys also so beautiful things

I always buy things I really need. I've learned to do this as money is tight so any money I do get I spend wisely (or try to) and I'm so pleased you like the stand. I do too.

Even if the in laws are not envious, you are happy and that is what counts. My stuff that I am getting online is coming in as well. I cannot wait to get out of e mail and go see your photo.

Hope you like it as much as I do. John helped me a lot putting the thing together and that was after driving to pick Mum up and bringing her back here. His stamina is amazing at times! Such a relief that it's all done and dusted in one day.

I had one like this in clear glass. They are so pretty! But I have to say I was delighted to find a duster with a long handle to keep it sparkling. Enjoy, Janey!

That is an awesome stand, I almost bought that one a few years ago when I was redoing my place. But I decided to go a little different. I wound up getting one that is totally rectangle and with one shelf. The reason was the wall that it was going on. I wanted it to fill the space but not overwhelm it. And that stand you have would not have done that for me. I love those corner stands very much. I hope you enjoy it also. And they are easy to clean as well. That is the style today, open space, nothing cluttered. Enjoy every minute of your TV and the stand. You deserve it and again, it looks wonderful.

Thank you so much! This stand has exceeded my expectations, it really has. I think the best part was putting measurements into the website for accuracy which is why the stand fits snugly into that corner...I'd measured it often enough lol.

That you did. And it did pay off. I really like it and like I said, I like the open look it gives. Again, enjoy it.

I am delighted that you have eventually bought a desirable TV stand. It looks nice and the stand and TV set are an integral whole. You shelved VCR,DVD and others ,which fit together perfectly like having it made to order.I now get a good idea of what "measuring is very important"means.

Aww, I'm glad you understand. Put it this way, if I'd not measured up the space properly there's no way ANY stand would fit in that corner!

I'm a big lover of glass, especially black glass. I'm pleased I went for black rather than clear as it sets the telly off better, somehow, in my opinion. I'm glad you have matching units. Good for you!

yes glass looks fab in any room, it looks modern and clean, i like the TV you have too, i am yet to get one of those, i still have the old style flat screen with the wide back but it still looks nice, also the other units are great for my ornaments, everything matches which is great, i even have the glass table and 4 chairs, the only thing i worry about is the grandkids, they are like 2 little road runners when they get started lol...

That is a wide one Janey.. It looks really great. We have a glass one but not near as wide as that. I was looking for one when I bought it back in 2006, but the 32 inch TV we bought then was about the best going for quality of picture, the bigger ones didn't seem to good in those days as they are now. We have our DVD and with the sky box sitting on top of it and the old VCR on the shelf below - I have connected them all together to I can copy from one to another... And then the usual spahetti junction of wires behind it all. _Derek

We have a cable tidy at the back but it's a waste of time in some ways as the Samsung has its connections AT THE SIDE, so if you look at the photograph closely you will see wires at the side. In actual fact, I don't think it looks too bad as it lessens the amount that's at the back! Haha!

It is very nice. It looks a lot like ours except yours is a double decker and ours is only one shelf. The design and color are very similar though. It looks really good with your TV. Enjoy your new TV stand and of course watching your television and than you very much for sharing a photo of your new TV stand.

You're welcome..and I'm glad you like it. The stand itself is more suited for a 37" TV rather than our 32" version but I needed a bigger one to store everything else.

Hey it's exactly like mine! People here have a habit of placing their TV's on top of their fireplaces, but I don't like it as it strains my neck. So, I purposely bought this kind as it fits nicely in the corner in our living room. I used to have the Wii and then Xbox (and the Kinect) along with it, but I've taken them out so it could be with the smaller TV. I'm at work right now, but maybe later on I could take a picture of it and post it in this discussion (if I don't forget).
