Is there an easy way to find someone on "my friends" list?

I wanted to delete a "friend" today and can't seem to find the person. I thought if I typed the person's name in the "find" box of my browser I could find the person easily in my friend's list. No so! Pages and pages and pages of "friends" and the thing didn't find that one. The Friends page is in no order that I can see, not alphabetical at least.
How do you easily find a "friend" in your list?

It's a beautiful day here, too. Breezy and cool and sunny, a perfect spring day!

I was so glad to see you asked this question! Can't tell you how many times I've gone to look up a certain friend and find it so frustrating. Sometimes I've just searched discussions hoping to find them there. Thanks for asking this Dragon.

Hi, Dragon, I see you got your help. We have not always been able to do the edit of the friend list, but since we can now that does make it a lot easier. Otherwise the order is from the most recently added back to the longest term friend. Interesting, but not helpful, as far as I can tell.

I would never delete you, P1key! It takes doing something truly awful for me to delete someone and I've only deleted one person in the 5 years I've been here. Deleting you would be like blocking the sunshine!

Personally there are many times when it would be so nice if it was Alphabetical, and you could go and find someone that way. I do know I think it is listed from your oldest friends you have on the last page to the newest ones in front. Isn't there a way via the Search bar you can find them and delete them this way? But if you cannot find them, maybe they are already not on your list as well.
